Wonderful 1 bedroom, 1 bath condominium located in the heart of Vail Village and directly on the Gore Creek. Easy walk to ski slopes, Bridge Street, restaurants and nightlife. One free outdoor parking space located directly in front of unit.

The property has many features including a gas fireplace, wireless internet, 2 flat screen T.V.s, game area and games for children, sleeper sofa, 2 recliners, ski locker just outside the condo, fully stocked kitchen (sorry, no dishwasher), nice private deck. Please note that the bathroom has a shower, but no tub.

Guests of this residence will also receive free access to the Aria Club and Spa located in West Vail. The Aria Club and is Vail's most extensive workout facility. Offering cardio and weight-training equipment, an indoor track, indoor basketball court, racquetball, squash, heated outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs. Fitness classes, personal training, Pilates & indoor tennis are also available for an additional fee.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this unit the most out of the places we have stayed in Vail in the past. The location to the village is great. We like being able to walk everywhere. Listening to the sound of Gore Creek outside the back door was very relaxing! The unit had everything we needed. The communication with the management company made checking in and out very easy! We would definitely stay there again!

February Trip

We enjoyed our stay. It appears that this unit has been renovated as the bath and kitchen had modern fixtures, etc. We did not experience the noisy heater that previous renters had complained about. The bus stop is quite close, and one could walk to the lifts, but it is more like a 10 minute walk with ski boots on. It is a basement unit, so it would not be suitable for those who cannot do stairs. We would have liked to have a tub rather than just a shower. We did not use the dry sauna. I definitely liked being able to communicate with the property manager by their app which is easy to use. They also notified us when the unit was available prior to the 4pm check in time. The one bedroom unit had a queen sized bed and a pull out couch, so would be suitable for a couple with up to 2 younger children or one older child. The price was reasonable especially given the unit's proximity to both Vail village and Gold Peak.

Everything about this apartment was perfect. Full size kitchen, grill, sauna in the apartment!?! Very good location, I would definitely stay again.

Perfect for Solo Skier

Just can't beat the location of this convenient unit. Recently upgraded kitchen and bath were nice. Perfect for those last minute "Powder Chase" trips when you need quick access to the lifts in the morning and then excellent Wi-Fi and cozy comfort at the end of the day.

February 2016 Stay

The location of this property can't be faulted. Park right outside and a couple of minutes walk to the village centre and lifts.

The living area is warm and cosy and welcoming, although dark being on the lower level with light blocked by a heap of snow creekside. There is ample lighting though.

The condo was built in the 1960s and I don't think the kitchen or bathroom have been updated since then. The cleaning team do a great job of cleaning a very dated and shabby bathroom (see photo of corner next to loo). The shower door was added, but the curtain rail left!

We had the worst sleep of any holiday we can remember, due to the knocking throughout the night of the heating system. We used earplugs, but that didn't block out the horrendous noise. We did alert the management company, but nothing could be done, apparently.

Wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend. I would question the 'gold' rating - possibly reputation damaging. Great spot but not up to scratch for the money.

The location of the property is its only selling point

Property is old and worn. It is set at basement level so very closed in, The armchairs need replacing, one cannot be used in fear of collapse. I had to tighten the legs of the kitchen table before it could be used,

The main bedroom is ok but small, the bed is good, the pull out bed is uncomfortable,

The heating was out of control for the week - too hot at night to sleep particularly in the bedroom with limited control - temp got hotter during the night waking in a sweat

Kitchen is workable but maybe 80's vintage, bathroom needs full renovation work,

Overall the proximity to the lifts and village make this property bearable.

Could be good if some money was spent on it - really expensive for what it is

Kinzel stay

Location, location, location! Very nice place, but the heater in the bedroom needs some attention. It is extremely loud with clickity clack and bang bang happening several times an hour. Makes it hard to sleep!
