Great base camp to experience the park!

We loved this cozy cabin. It was in a quiet location outside of town, but very easy commute in and out of yellowstone. Very clean and had everything we needed. Even had a pair of elk grazing in the backyard several times during our stay!

It Has All The Facilities We Were Expecting, And More. The Front View Of Yellowstone River Was Like A Post Card. Every Appliance Worked Perfectly. Beds Were Very Comfortable. The Night View Was Fantastic! We Saw Many Stars And Constellations! Even The Milky Way , With Naked Eyes. If We Had The Opportunity We Would Repeat The Stay. Thank You Very Much For The Hospitality. Completely Recommended!Yes!

Beautiful views from porch area with Elk in river most mornings.

Loved our stay in this cozy cabin. Enjoyed the board games with our kids every night after long days in Yellowstone. There is a gravel road for 4-5 miles from entrance to Yellowstone from cabin. Cabins are close together and you basically share your backyard with others but it is overall a very quiet area. We watched a family playing frisbee one night from our porch. Only recommendations would be to replace carpeting in bedrooms ( there is a smell when you enter cabin and we think it could be carpeting as it looks older) and the covers on beds look dated. Could use a couple wine glasses too (only found champagne glasses and martini). Would recommend replacing with white duvet covers and white sheets. Backyard could use some comfy chairs on porch as there is only picnic table and bench (nothing to really lounge in). Beds were comfortable and the two bathrooms worked out great for our family of four. Having a washer and dryer was so helpful. Cabin is in a gorgeous natural environment and so convenient to get into the park every day. Owner was great with responding to my questions and answers the phone calls.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking time to write a review. We very much value all comments. The carpeting is our top priority to replace for the next season. We replace our bedding regularly, but appreciate a heads up to take another look. We often use our cabin in the off season and this gives us the opportunity to know what the cabin needs to make our guests stay the most comfortable it can be. The outdoor setting of the cabin never fails to amaze and inspire us. Lainie

So many thoughtful details!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here with our friends to explore Yellowstone, fish, hike and raft. This spot was amazing! It was so close to town and steps from the Yellowstone river to fish. I was really impressed with all the details that the owners thought of when putting this cabin together -- little hooks for organizing things in just the right places, a fun movie and lots of books and magazines about Yellowstone, and it was very clean. All in all, it was a great place for us to stay as 'home base' while exploring this beautiful, beautiful part of the country.
