We loved the cottage. Attractive, clean with a historic charm, yet it is updated with modern conveniences. Nearly 30 minutes from the closest town, which was what we were looking for. Quiet. Enjoyed finding some nice hikes in the area, playing Scrabble (provided by the host) and cooking, eating and watching movies with our kids. All of the directions were clear and easy to follow. Thank you for a wonderful place. We have some treasured memories to take home with us.
This is a lovely cottage in Bear Paw. Would highly recommend!
clean warm comfy convenient
My only regrets are that I arrived very late on the first night, and had to leave early on the last day in order to keep an appointment. I still enjoyed two jacuzzi sessions. This place is maintained very well and clean enough to invite my (very picky) wife to join me next time!
Spacious cottage with nice amenities
This was a very nice property, good area and nice amenities. I liked that there was a security guard. Monica was a pleasure to work with. Go shopping before you come, closest grocery store is 30 minutes away. The screened-in front porch is very relaxing in the morning and the hot tub on the deck is especially enjoyable! WiFi available but no cell Service. However, if you have any trouble walking or have trouble with steps then I would not recommend this property for you. My grandmother stayed, she is 81 and had a very difficult time walking to the steps because of the unlevel ground and roots, as well as a small bridge you have to cross over. There are fewer steps in the back but you have to climb an incline to get to them.
Relaxing Labor Day Weekend in Bear Paw
We had a fantastic time at this beautiful cottage! The place itself has been completely redone and is cozy and well equipped; we did a ton of cooking in the awesome kitchen. We also enjoyed getting out in the Bear Paw community to run, play tennis, and listen to a concert down at the pavilion. Overall, we would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!
