Esta impresionante casa familiar grande está rodeada de palmeras y árboles nativos. La propiedad elevada tiene vistas al océano desde la amplia terraza para todo clima que conduce desde la espaciosa sala de estar de planta abierta.

5 habitaciones (1 King, 1 Queen, 3 individuales) Techos altos de catedral (sala de estar / comedor) y pisos de madera pulida en todas partes, con un gran baño de dos vías fuera de la habitación principal. La planta baja cuenta con una entrada formal, una enorme habitación con cama / litera, baño privado / lavandería, oficina / dormitorio y un amplio garaje doble con cerradura (48 m 2).

Ropa de cama Suministrada para reservas realizadas después del 1/12/18, NB Las camas no están hechas y es posible que tenga que devolver la ropa a nuestra oficina cuando devuelva las llaves.

Appliance failure

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I feel our stay was the accumulation of consistent failure to keep appliances up to date. On moving in oven didn't work dryer didn't work and tv didn't work. Whilst there several lights also stopped working and one light even starting putting our burning smells. Despite being there for 2 weeks they were unable to resolve our problems with the oven or dryer. Ray white were pleasant in their interactions but it felt the owner was disappointed when we pointed out these flaws in the appliances. It was a very cold week when we were their and no appropriate extra blankets were available or any form of heaters. The spare doona we did find fell apart on useage. So not well suited for cold weather at all. Overall the house is a nice layout but needs alot of maintenance to bring it to the standard of a holiday house. Finally when checking in the property was not ready at the 2pm time, we had to wait until 4pm to check in because they didn't get cleaners there in time. Floors were not cleaned 100% (could tell places they skipped because they were rushed) and where they did mop it was very wet and took another hour to dry. Was hoping this property would be wonderful but just didn't meet the level of other houses on the island.

Family holiday approved!

Alarms and broken sleep

The property was as advertised, spacious and clean. I didn't see a house number so we found it by comparing it to the photo. We did have a big problem with the smoke alarms as they must have gone off about 10 times including 3am and 6 am. I rang the estate agent managing the property but nothing was done. The next day I talked to the agent and after some altercation she arranged for someone to check them and he told us how to manage it. It should have been easier than it was. I'm pretty tolerant but being woken up in the middle of the night was not good enough.

At the top of the hill!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very pleasant house for an island break. Lovely open kitchen, lounge, diner and massive deck that catches the breezes. Ray White staff were very helpful when the kettle stopped working. Had trouble working out the gas cooker and hated the microwave being located over the cooker at a significant height - I actually think that is very dangerous. I also found the industrial fan rather noisy - and it was needed as it was a hot weekend. Would be a much nicer house with ceiling fans in the main room. I hadn't realised it was a 9am check-out until it was too late - which I find really too early, and meant I had to change my Sunday plans. Great location. The furniture was lovely and it was great to have somewhere to stay with my dogs - though we had a weekend blighted with March flies. (Not at the house, thankfully). I had expected the rear yard to be bigger and grassed, but that was my fault for not looking at the description/pictures properly!! A little close to the neighbours behind - or at least that was their opinion, given they grumbled about my dog's poop when I had barely been there a couple of hours! A great spot for a family/group of friends.

Great House to Cater for Everyone

Really enjoyed our stay there and thought it is functionally very good too.Only one improvement I would suggest is Wifi... having the ability to relax with a movie at night wasn’t an option during our stay as Netflix or any other service was unavailable - also note the tv reception need improvement as free to air tv was dropping out a lot. We did very much love this place though!!

Bad start, great everything else

Problems with both garage doors on arrival, which proved worse the next day when we couldn't get out. However the real estate was on to it pronto when I called & we were free within a couple of hours. We enjoyed the view from the verandah with a drink in the mean time. Good old house, with everything you need & some of what you want, but mostly, location, location.

Think again for you holiday

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's been said in most/all previous reviews that the property is unclean. Nothing has changed. We spent our first day of holidays cleaning the kitchen and washing bedding. But more than that there is cleaning required by the owner that goes beyond contract cleaning after stays. Eg, dust on blinds, clogged fly screens, dirty and damaged doors and windows, inoperable screen doors.Property is perfect for someone who lives on the island but awful for a holidaying family. We were ALWAYS in the car driving. The property listing also has misleading comments eg 'ocean views', not even.There are plenty of other rental properties vacant on the island. My advice is actually look around and do your due diligence before spending any money. Give this one a big miss.

Welcome to the eighties

The house is large and well located but it is really hot as it lacks air-conditioning. The house is a bit dated with 2 bedrooms down in the dungeon. However probably ok for the price paid.

Huge, pet friendly well equipped house

Booked this back in June during Covid restrictions- thinking as we don’t have to travel out of state we should be ok. It’s been a fabulous family Christmas and the pets enjoyed it too. If I had one criticism, only one pedestal fan in whole house just wasn’t enough in hot and humid Queensland. Not all bedrooms had ceiling fans. Luckily, I phoned ahead (knowing there is no aircon here) and we took two of our own ... Overall, this house is great for extended families, plenty space, well equipped kitchen for family meals (hard to dine out with pets) , we spent six nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it

Good house for a nice stay on straddie

Overall the house was very good for our needs, the communal living space and the tall ceilings where great and the deck has plenty of seating and a good breeze with sea views. However it could benefit from some extra touches like a stair gate for young children and the balcony has a large gap under the railings which made us nervous with the children. The kitchen was well equipped however we were disappointed to have to buy our own dishwasher powder and bin bags as none were supplied. The house could also benefit from a clean as the floors were pretty sandy and grubby when we arrived.

Good stay

This was a great house for two couples and dogs. Small fenced yard and lovely balcony. Had everything we needed. Plenty of glassware and nice dinnerware. The pots and pans could do with an update though. Overall a great house and we would consider staying here again.

Great Value

This place is lovely and looks just like the photos - it is spacious and the deck gets the sun all day. However that there were only small sea glimpses from the deck between the neighbors houses - not the views I was expecting. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there are plenty of plates and glasses but bring your own loo paper and dishwasher tablets !!
