With its elevated vantage point, wrap-around deck, and two private balcony decks, this cottage ensures you never miss the evening sky as it glows in shades of gold and pink over the bay. Set along peaceful West Shore Road, the home provides a perfect blend of serenity and convenience, enjoy quiet coastal living while still being within walking distance of the island's general store and local restaurants.

Enter through the lower level, where you'll find a washer and dryer for your convenience, along with extra storage space. Head upstairs to the main living floor, where light pours into the open-concept layout. A well-equipped kitchen makes cooking a pleasure, and the adjacent sitting area is the perfect spot for morning coffee. The dining and living rooms offer plenty of comfortable seating, and with direct access to the expansive wrap-around deck, indoor and outdoor living flow together seamlessly. A full bathroom is also located on this level.

Continue to the top floor to find two inviting bedrooms, each designed to maximize comfort and the views. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, a spacious closet, an ensuite bathroom, and its own private balcony overlooking the water, ideal for a quiet sunrise or a peaceful sunset moment. The second bedroom offers two twin beds, a half bath, and a private water-facing balcony of its own.

Beautiful location

The house was perfect for our mini break.We enjoyed waking up to the water view and sunsets from the multiple decks. Rooms were spacious and comfy.We also loved walking to Cook’s, Sundrenched, BIGS, the beach, and Cribstone bridge.

Quiet location with nice view of the bay. Property was very clean, excellent beds, well equipped kitchen. Very well maintained, although we had a minor problem that we sent a text message about,and the response was virtually immediate, like 10 minutes we got a reply and worked a resolution. Definitely in our top tier of rental ptoperty experience.
Ship sailed up bay in front of rental in evening. Fired "cannon salute to sunset" in front of house. First time was a surprise.

Great spot

Lovely cottage on a hill with excellent balcony/deck big enough for hanging out and eating. Good walking area, orr’s and Bailey islands are very special, as Maine as it gets. Lots of seasonal restaurants, etc (not so much on Mondays), close enough to Brunswick if you really need stuff that just can’t wait. The cottage was well equipped and comfy.

West Shore house

We enjoyed our time very much and loved the views from the different decks. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We liked the open floor plan on the main floor. The small bathroom in the second bedroom was a plus.

Hard to find; No address number displayed on the house. The steep hill in front makes walking and parking difficult. Inside, it was very comfortable, perfect space for 2 couples.

The house was great. Location excellent. Only thing was the beds in one bedroom did not have sheets on the two beds, we had to search around to find sheets and make them up ourselves, the master bathroom wasn’t very clean, tooth brush holder had old dried paste from previous use and one drawer had powder spilled in it.

Great place. More stairs than would have like because 3 of us has had knee replacement. Loved the view. Beds were comfortable. Tv had very few channels to watch. House was very clean.

Great get away!

What a perfect property! Lots of deck space overlooking the water with tons of room inside. Washer and dryer a major plus and full kitchen was nice! Walking distance to small store and cafe that both served great food too. Easy drive into Portland or North to Booth Bay. Owners were very responsive and great at communication. There were only two of us but you could easily have 6 with plenty of room to spare. Highly recommend!
