This was the perfect stay to start the Road to Hana and the town of Paia is so lovely and had a lot of food options. The beaches around this area were some of our favorite. If you can, make a reservation at Mamas Fishhouse or try and walk in around lunch time-it’s worth every penny!

Nice condo outside of Paia

Great place to stay just down the road from Paia. We wanted to see road to Hana, Haleakalā, and upcountry Maui this trip. Perfect spot, Paia is cute and has lots of good restaurants too. Not too far from the west side either. Condo is clean and comfortable. Some road noise as mentioned in other reviews but didn’t bother us. We would stay here again.

Despite a storm blowing our plans off course we ended up enjoying Paia and our time on Maui. The condo was in a great location and easy to find. Beaches nearby, road to Hana a breathtaking experience, wonderful food and friendly people in the town of Paia. Condo had everything we needed and easily accommodated a day-late check in with great communication.

Great place to stay! The condo is near a busy road, so it can get loud at night and in mornings since the bedroom is facing the road. The living room furniture was tired looking and could use an re fresh. Overall the condo was clean and in a great location!

Perfect Spot on the North Coast

We wanted to be close to Pa'ia and the Road to Hana... and away from the big tourist beaches. Loved this spot. Very well appointed, super-clean and comfortable. Nice lanai. Private gate exit / short stroll to the great little beach at Kuau Cove and to Mama's Fish House. (Even if you don't have a res, they were super-accommodating and got us in at the bar for dinner). 3 min. drive to Pa'ia, with all it's funky spots. Saw lots of swimming/resting Hawaiian Green Turtles at the cove and just up the coast at the awesome surf spot - Ho'okipa Beach. If you have a 4x4, the world renowned Peahi Beach ("Jaws") is also very close. Would stay again for sure!

Very sweet place, great location

We loved this little condo! My son and I camped for a week on Maui, and we stayed at Kuau Plaza our first two nights. It was perfect! An easy walk to the beach, great kitchen with everything we needed to make meals, comfy beds, laundry machines across a grass lawn, and a lovely place to sit outside and feel that heavenly Hawaii seabreeze. The internet didn’t work on our last night- luckily we didn’t need it- but the host was very responsive when I reached out. All in all a perfect place to start our Maui adventure- we will be back!

First time VRBO users. Christy, our contact, was very good trying to help us. Location excellent. AC did not work when we got there. Condo was extremely hot. Second day Christy came over but was not able to get it going. She gave up and said she would call the owners. About 30 minutes after she left, the AC came on. There were no luggage racks for the suitcases, so they were on the floor. Bureau space in one night stand that was not easy to get to. Squealing in the fan vent from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm, very irritating. The TV in the bedroom would not work, the plug for the drain in the bathroom did not close. The booklet with instructions was inaccurate. The kitchen set up was very nice and other than the vent, the condo was clean. The beach towels and beach chairs were new and very nice. Proximity to the beach was very good. We would not go there again, especially for the price and no contact from the owners.

Unfortunate experience

It is unfortunate that we have to write this review because it seemed like such a cool place in a cool area. When we checked in, the contact number was incorrect. The person we were talking to was literally the cleaner rather than the property manager so they were expecting this lady to answer questions she didn’t know. When we walked inside, it appeared clean at first glance until we saw all the dead flies on the sink in the bathroom. After walking around looking for a broom we found a few dead cockroaches and later that evening and the rest of our stay we saw cockroaches crawling all over the condo. It definitely gave us some worries about the cleanliness of the property and the safety of our food. I think we deserve at least a partial refund especially since we ended up throwing out some of our food (that was sitting out) the morning after we saw the roaches. Unfortunate because it seemed to be a nice property. It Just needs to be managed better

Awesome location!

This is a great property with an awesome location! Just steps from the beach where there are turtles swimming. Modern amenities made it very pleasant to stay in.

We really enjoyed this North shore condo! It was an older unit but the owners remodeled the entire unit with new upgrades. Very clean! It was well stocked. Mama’s Fish House Restaurant was a 2 minute walk and we walked there several times a day since the beach in front of the restaurant is picturesque! We would definitely stay here again!
