About Jacci & Virgil Farlow
My husband Virgil and I have lived here for over 25 years! We have always loved the quaint and quiet nature of the Village. We do most of the work on the houses ourselves from renovating to cleaning. We love to welcome people to our village and acquaint them with all that is here. In addition to being hosts, I am a photographer and Manager of the Aurora Arts & Design Center and Virgil is an Energy Star rater/consultant.
Jacci & Virgil Farlow purchased this House in 2013
Why Jacci & Virgil Farlow chose Aurora
We own 432 and 434 Main Street, right next to each other which makes it easy to maintain. The properties are extremely accessible to everything in the village from weddings to festivals, graduations to reunions.
What makes this House unique
These turn-of-the-century houses are well built and sturdy and add to the charm of Main Street. They are convenient to shopping and dining, walking and swimming. It's surprising how much there is to do here and how contemplative Aurora can be!

Our family came to Aurora for our niece's wedding. We rented this house and the one next door to accommodate all of our family members. The house was wonderful. It is very comfortable and offers a great place to gather as a family as well as private areas for each individual family. We really enjoyed our stay.
Historic, Hospitable, Handy
This is the perfect home for a large group. The kitchen is wonderfully outfitted for simple to gourmet meal preparation. Our family loved being able to walk to everything in this historic, charming town with a lake view. We cherished our morning coffees gazing at Cayuga Lake and were treated to spectacular sunsets almost every evening. With five bedrooms and three baths, everyone had plenty of room to spread out and have some privacy while the common rooms were perfect for large get togethers. We appreciated the ample off street parking as well as the park with a playground right behind the house. The decor was charming, homey and comfortable. Everyone slept well during our visit so I assume all the beds were as comfortable as mine. The hosts, Jacci and Virgil, were ready to help with anything and a delight to talk with. They made sure our stay was perfect!
Thank you so much, Tara! You and your family were a delight to host! Aside from being so thoughtful and tidy, you were all so appreciative it made it a total joy
to have this house to offer you as "home." Please come back, we'd love to have you stay again!
I was in town for a family wedding. I found this house very comfortable and preferred it to a hotel room. Several of my family members stayed in this house and it accommodated 10 adults as stated in the advertising. It is located within walking distance of downtown Aurora. Jackie and Virgil are great people, very attentive to any request. While visiting Aurora I also visited 4 other houses Aurora Main Stays manages. The are all very nice. I would not hesitate to return to any of their properties.
Thank you, David, your entire family was very considerate and respectful and we appreciated and enjoyed meeting all of you! What a great occasion to be all together and share the houses as "locals." We're so glad every house fit every need
and you all made the most of your stay. We would warmly and enthusiastically welcome EVERYONE back! Thanks for the review! - Jacci
Convenient and Welcome Alternative
When business brought me back to the Finger Lakes, I wondered about staying in the same fine home our family had experienced at Christmas time. I contacted Jacci and, fortunately, she had room in this nice guest house next door. I just needed a room and not the whole house. I discovered they had cleverly divided the place so I could have my own room without the hassles and expense of dealing with a hotel. The flexibility of renting just what I needed was great.
Thanks, Greg, hope you'll visit us again! Thanks for being so tidy!
