Why Mike & Laura Parsons: Owners/Managers - Bear Den & Loon Song@WildcatCabins.com chose Boulder Junction

This is my husband's dream to have a cabin located in the northwoods. He is a big fisherman, boater, hunter and snowmobiler and this location offers it all. As for me, I love being in the woods and being part of nature's solitude. We both enjoy all outdoor sports and this property is perfect. We hope you think so too.

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

We just loved the cabin and everything that comes with it. I thought the tower fans were really nice on a warm day. The clothes washer/dryer was great to have as well. The stairs down to the dock are somewhat new I see. (we stayed at the Bear Den in 2014) The big screen TV is wonderful! We plan to book a week in 2018.

Lovely modern cabin on a relaxing lake

  • 5 of 5

This was our second summer stay at the Wildcat Resort cabins - really love this resort and Bear Den did not disappoint - it's obvious the owners take great care of this nicely appointed cabin. It was very clean, great kitchen amenities, cute bear decor, and the screen porch with lights was super nice, with a great view of the lake. The Boulder Junction area has miles of paved bike trails, tree-lined and lakeside, and there are several restaurants with good food nearby, as well as Coontail Market, which carries most everything you will need, including live bait. Big and Little Kitten lakes are no-wake, great for kayaking and paddle boarding, but with access to Wildcat Lake for more fishing and tubing & water skiing fun. We loved it!

Relaxing lake front cottage experience!

  • 5 of 5

Mike and Laura have given great attention to detail! Loved the screened in porch! The kitchen is fully stocked. Furniture is in good condition and very comfortable. Watching hummingbirds at the lodge's feeder was a trip highlight!! Along with listening to the Loons. Beautiful, relaxing place! Looking forward to visiting during winter and fall. We WILL be back! :)

The Bear Den at Wildcat Lake. Nothing better.

  • 5 of 5

Our 16th visit to Wildcat. Although it has changed from a family run resort to private cabin owners, the Parsons and other owners have done a great job keeping the feel of a family resort. 2018 was another great year with new bike trips on the Bearskin trail and from the cabin to St. Germain and back. Lots of time on the water, recreation and fishing. Hiking in the Mary Wolters preserve on a rainy day was very cool. Mike and Laura have the cabin well stocked with all the ameneties and are very accomodating to guests needs.
