Our weekend was great but we had a few issues with the cabin that kept it from getting five stars. The Bath towels smelled rancid, the coffee maker did not work well, there was a potential propane leak with fumes while we were there. Overall, the experience was good but the cabin could Use some attention.
What a beautiful place!
The mountains are gorgeous and we got to hike some of the Appalachian Trail. The pool for relaxing afterward was really special at the top of the mountain. The views from the deck were wonderful, the house is tastefully decorated, and the entire stay lent itself to getting away from the stress of our lives. There's so much to do in the area, we highly recommend Biltmore Estate and the mineral hot springs.
