A full restoration ensures modern function and amenities while historic pocket doors, mantels and original floors deliver the original historic character.

The Lower Garden District is a prime location within the city for visitors and business travelers alike. The Warehouse District, Garden District and French Quarter are easy to reach on foot. The house is one block to shops and restaurants on Magazine Street and 4 blocks (0.4mi) to the Street Car on St. Charles Ave. French Truck, a wonderful local roaster and coffee shop is 2 blocks from the house as is Barrel Proof bourbon bar and local Courtyard Brewery.

This is a very private, quiet, large "owner's unit" within a double shotgun house. There is a separate small one bedroom apartment on the left side of the home but this unit is three times the size and has access to both the front and back porches/patios. The two bedrooms are completely private (no pass through rooms like some shotguns) and the master has an en suite bath.

Plentiful free street parking can be found right in front of the home, a bonus in New Orleans!

Saints Fans (& Visitors)! Great convenient location for games and events at the Superdome or the Smoothie Center. The house is 1.3 mi to the Dome.

Attention Conventioneers! This home is so close to the Convention Center. You will love being a quick walk to a relaxing and comfortable home! By Google Maps calculation it is 0.6 mi walking distance to the main entrance (closer if you use one of the other entrances).

We provide an independent check-in process with a coded lockbox. No need to arrange a set time to meet us but we live on the block and are available if needed!

The front room has a sofa which converts to a comfortable twin size, creating a third bed. An additional queen air mattress can be set up to accommodate children or other guest(s) in one of the front rooms.

I love to travel for pleasure but also spent over a decade traveling domestically and internationally for a corporate job. Ro and Seth were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcomed. The shotgun was charming, updated, very spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood was in a central location, a block off of Magazine, quiet and very convenient to the French Quarter and to the Garden District. We would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable, easy access to the city.

Had a great time. The home was clean and had a charming mix of old and new. Within walking distance to the WWII museum and trolley lines. Plenty of great uber rides available.

We're already planning a return visit to this calm oasis and its crazy town

3 of us have just spent 8 nights in this lovely home near the border of Lower Garden and the Warehouse District. The rooms are large, well furnished and comfortable, and the second bedroom isn't an internal room which I believe can be common with shotguns. I loved the large and well-equipped kitchen, the large main bedroom and the very comfortable sitting room.

There are good coffee shops around the corner on Magazine, as is the 11 bus which runs frequently and will get you from the Audubon zoo at one end to Canal St at the other. We found it too far to walk to the French Quarter (but it could be done), so opted to Uber it or walk the couple of short blocks up to St Charles and catch the trolley car to Canal St. There's lots of parking right in front or on the vacant lot opposite.

We heard hardly any noise from the overpass a couple of blocks away (there's just a soft background hum if you try hard) and an awareness of the immediate neighbours coming and going but they were very considerate. The bedrooms in the back of the house are very quiet at night.

The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that we found the bed in the main bedroom a little uncomfortable, and when it's time to replace it a king bed would be wonderful in such a beautiful big room.

Although we didn't meet her in person, Ro has been a great host, very welcoming and quick to respond to any queries, and the house itself felt welcoming and imbued with her warm personality.

Great location, beautiful home

A beautifully restored home, very comfortable for our party of seven. Owners were very responsive whenever we had questions or concerns, and super friendly. The home offers lots of free parking (a huge commodity in NOLA) ....

Beautiful details, fantastic location

This is a beautiful, swoon-worthy home with incredible attention to detail. On top of the gorgeous decor, Ro has gone out of her way to provide thoughtful ammenities from complimentary toiletries to travel guides.

Best of all, this was the perfect location. There are so many great gems within walking distance (coffee shops, Cajun food, museums, shops, the street car...I could go on).

Ro was always available to answer questions via text, but also allowed if our space to enjoy the company of our group. The next time we're in NoLa, we will definitely try to stay here again! Highly recommend!

Very clean and beautiful interior design with great hosts.

I brought my family to NOLA for a conference. The property was close enough to the convention center for me to walk. My family was very comfortable hanging out during the day.

St. Charles was so close that we could go up for a trolley ride or a stroll to some cool restaurants.

The hosts were super responsive and accommodating.
