We are ready to host you today! We've instituted additional cleaning procedures to ensure a clean and welcoming apartment for your visit. We've cleaned hard surfaces with anti-bacterial sprays. Soft surfaces, furniture & throw pillows are treated with anti-bacterial fabric sprays.
Located next to popular Westchester Lagoon and The Coastal Trail, this top floor apartment is also minutes from downtown by car, bike, or your feet! If you have a vehicle, you'll have a parking spot reserved just for you. The unit has a private entrance accessed by two flights of exterior stairs.
When you are away from home, we want you to feel welcome and comfortable while you visit our wonderful and adventurous city. We are committed to hosting you and providing a warm and welcoming home, whether you are here for fun, business, or both. Our winter wonderland is a beautiful time to visit Alaska!
Adventure around the city, or relax inside logging in to watch your favorite shows on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon. With two internet connected TVs (one in the main bedroom), you and your companions have unlimited options.
Our apartment has two bedrooms (now with a queen bed in each as of Oct 2019), a jacuzzi bathtub, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, one full bath and one half bath, and a washer and dryer in the unit. We've stocked our Keurig machine and filled the refrigerator with complimentary bottled water.
This is the first of two rentals that we host in our building. The second one "New remodeled unit next to Downtown at Westchester" opened in December 2019. It was designed and furnished with guests in our minds.
As a born and raised Alaskan, nothing beats the beauty and winter recreation opportunities of Alaska!
You'll have the entire 900 Sq Ft apartment to yourself.
There is a shared deck to relax on while watching the sunset and waterfowl.
There are two flights of exterior stairs to access the apartment.
Located in a four-plex with private off street parking. One assigned parking spot with booking.
This is non-smoking/vaping property. For the comfort of our guests and residents, please do not smoke/vape in the apartment, on the deck, or at the top of the driveway.

We enjoyed our stayed here! The place is clean and comfortable with cozy beds and a nice jetted tub with a spectacular showerhead! I appreciated the washer and dryer and was pleasantly surprised that the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook with and the host provided plenty of coffee, water, and welcome snacks. The apartment is on the top floor so there are a few flights of stairs to climb but it worked fine for us. There is a lake with a walking/biking path with two parks for kids nearby. This was our second time staying here and we would love to stay again in the future.
The house was just as described. Excellent place and they have added a few things to the stay that made it comfortable and cozy. It was easy to reach out to the owner and they responded immediately. Definitely a great place to stay.
We booked this stay as part of Wish Granters' wish-granting program. Dan and Christine were a delight to work with. This is what our wish recipient, Laura, said: "We had a great time here. Why they chose this property
We sold our family home and invested in this 4-plex in 2019. We saw this location as a perfect spot for short term visitors and long term renters. We are investing in our new home to make it comfortable and inviting for our family and our guests.
