The pictures of this place do no justice. Truly a gem with an amazing location. You're missing out if you decide not book this stay! I wish I had taken photos, but we were too busy enjoying the place.The kitchen and rooms are large and spacious, friendly neighbors, and quiet street. There is a grocery store close by as well as many food trucks. I could go on and on, so just book if you find availability!

Magical Family Vacation

My adult children and I had an idyllic week here. The location is perfect and the house is spacious. We had everything we needed: towels, umbrella, beach chairs, and snorkeling gear. We hope to stay here next year!

Sunset Beach perfection!

Property is a minute walk from the beach. And a 2 minute walk to Ted’s! Views from the lanai! Sleepy little neighborhood. Roomy, comfortable interior! Comfy beds... Overall great place, great trip! Super happy and will definitely be back!!

Great North Shore Experience

My sister and I took our girls over the Thanksgiving break for a girls week. The property is in a great location to activities like zip lining, food trucks, snorkeling, surfing and beach fun. We each had our own rooms and enjoyed eating in or out. Cathy was great and easy to work with! Would come back again!

So close to the beach

Great location, super short walk to the beach. No air conditioning in the home but box fans in every bedroom. Long term tenants in the lower portion of the home. Only 1 of 4 burners on the stove work, property manager did let us know about the stove several days before our arrival. Again, great location, would Definity go back. Thank you.

Great time

We had a great time. The North Shore is beautiful. The house was nice. We didn’t know before we purchased that their was a family downstairs, probably would not stayed here had we been informed. They were nice we just had to be mindful of them being downstairs. Also having no locks or real doors on the two bedrooms downstairs was weird and did not leave much privacy. The walk to the beach was really close so that was nice. All in all we had a awesome time.

house from hell

broken dryer, broken stove, tub doesnt function.Sand needed to be swept off floor when we entered. Gecko poop on kitchen counter and dishes from a hole in the wall where they were nesting. You have to enter the property through the back yard of another tenent. Towels were dirty in bathroom, not stained, dirty.

Unfortunately the stove and dryer broke right before their arrival and they were notified and opted to stay after a full refund was offered. The other items were never brought to my attention or I would have taken care of them asap. Love guests that stay and don't bring issues to our attention which makes it impossible to take care of them. Please don't be this kind of guest!! It is fully disclosed that this rental is the top 2 floors of a 3 story home with long term tenants on the ground floor.

Needs some serious updates

The patio/deck was filthy. The kitchen sink, windows, stove, countertop are awful - rusty, not very clean. Open bags of chips in the cupboard, open condiments in the fridge. It’s in a neighborhood w a lot of residents and they all take their dogs to the beach… dog crap all over the beach. It is close to sunset beach and thankfully it’s clean. We’ve stayed in the area several times and this was the most expensive, worst experience

“ we are apologizing you had a bad experience at this location. Our clients are important to us and we will take your response seriously. We did have a problem with our cleaning crew, which we now advised differently so this won’t happen again. Yes, living on the sea affects all metal parts rapidly with rust. The sink is made of a different material, so this was not able to rust. The stove does have rust, which we try to treat periodically. Every 4-6 years we change the appliances in order of rust. As you may noticed while you were staying at the house the fridge, the dryer, the washing machine and the dishwasher and all the matrasses and living room sofa were already recently changed (new in September 2023). This year we will change the stove. The beach where the house is located at is known as one of the most beautiful beaches on Oahu. (according to

Great Location very close to Sunset Beach

This is the upper two floors of a duplex, however, we rarely heard or saw the renters downstairs. It is very spacious, 3 bedrooms with king size beds (very comfortable) and a loft area with 2 twins. There are puzzles, books & games and a smart TV. The large covered porch is wonderful. The house was clean, but some of the windows, shades and screens could use dusting/cleaning. Some cooking oil, spices and foil would be a nice addition to the kitchen for cooking at home since dining options in the immediate area are limited to mostly food trucks. The home is about 100 steps to a beach path leading to Sunset Beach. Our only negative experience is that we had a bit of miscommunication with instructions to enter the home. There are 2 locks and we were not given the combo for the first gate, so we were not sure that we were at the right house. We arrived late at night and is was very dark. Fortunately, Kathy was quick to respond, even at the late hour, and we were in the house within about 15 minutes. All in all we had a great stay and would return. This is not a luxury rental; but if you are looking for a spacious and comfortable accommodation close to the beach and within 20 minutes to old town Haleiwa, you will enjoy this home.

Great North Shore location

Very nice, clean and roomy place. Had a lovely time sitting on the balcony enjoying the neighborhood. Access to the beach is just a short walk to the end of the road. Many great beaches nearby, short drive to a grocery store, Haliewa Town, etc. Owner was easy to work with and everything was great!

Great Location

Great beach house. Lots of room and very accurate description. We had some trouble getting in when we arrived, but Cathy was very responsive and helped us immediately. I would note that it's not the cleanest house (dust, dirt on window sills, beds not made properly, sandy shower) but it was fine and the location and amount of space was perfect for us. We would stay here again and recommend it!

Wonderful house!!

The house was so big and roomy for our party of 6. The kitchen is huge! I loved it that every teenager had their own bed. The house is just down the road from two public beech accesses, though don't plan on much swimming because the waves are the North Shore are unlike any I've ever seen (mind you we always vacation at Orange Beach, AL). Overall very wonderful house! It was nice after a day of traveling to have laundry detergent and shampoo there for us to use. It's the little things that make a difference.

Great north shore location!

Had a great stay here! Property was as described in listing. Steps away from the beach, with plenty of space for our two small families. Kitchen stocked with pots/pans and enough utensils to get all our cooking done. The BBQ on the lanai was great as well! Would come back again!! :)
