Great home base for exploring the limestone coast

Fantastic location! Nice and quiet but central enough that there’s plenty of options within walking distance, and well equipped to self cater when you don’t feel like going out. Topped off with friendly and communicative hosts — what more could you ask for!

Neat and comfortable but facilities could be better

The unit is very neat and comfortable and has most things you would need for a short stay. It was big enough for the 4 of us. Very close to the town centre but still in a quiet location. We did have a few issues with maintenance of the unit - we were informed prior to arrival that we would not have an oven as it required a new part. We also later discovered that the kettle was producing discoloured water, after boiling, which was inconvenient as we had an infant who required cooled boiled water. Although the kettle was replaced during our stay, I was surprised at the lack of reimbursement (or anything offered) for the lack of facilities/issues, as the unit was clearly lacking the facilities advertised. I found this a little unfair. Also when the kettle was replaced, the owner had entered the unit to replace it whilst we were not there, and without prior warning, which I found a little invasive.

I am 40 years of age and have 3 children. We love our guests to enjoy their stay whether it be for business or leisure.
