Big views all year round. Large deck with lots of places to sit and enjoy coffee in the mornings and Dinner with beautiful sunsets in the evenings. Perfect for large families or Friends getaway.
Main floor has fully equipped modern kitchen, dining table for up to 8, Breakfast Bar space for 2, spacious laundry room, powder room, large comfy living room and Master Suite with Semi private deck with views.

Upstairs
Two queen bedrooms, Full shower/bath combo. Loft has sitting/reading area work space with mountain view.

Lower level has 4 twin beds, full bathroom shower/tub combo. Large sitting area, electric fireplace, puzzle/game corner, foosball . Separate entrance. This space can be private for extra guests.

The long range view and sunsets are just “WOW”!! A roaring fireplace to relax by, a kitchen full of any type of kitchen appliance you would ever need, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, miles of hiking trails, waterfalls, lakes, and a friendly and helpful hostess. We LOVED our stay!

Thanksgiving

We had a great stay the week of Thanksgiving in Connestee Falls! The view from the deck is spectacular and we were very pleased with the house. It is bigger than it looks in the pictures and was fully decorated for the holidays. We loved all of the personal touches and would definitely stay here again.

A little piece of heaven

From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth and happiness of this place. The house has a beautiful view of the mountains that is uplifting, There is a table and comfortable chairs on the front deck where you can eat outside and several spots on the desk where you can get away and read if you want to. There is a spacious downstairs for children to sleep and play. The master bedroom has a pretty view of the mountains and is big enough to hold a pack and play if you have a baby. Two upstairs rooms are really comfortable. I slept great every single night! There are a desk and chairs at the end of the upstairs hall with a pretty Mountain View The house is well equipped and stocked even though we went to the grocery store and bought our own things. The owner is kind and generous and responsive. The kitchen has everything you need, including coffee makers. We enjoyed taking the children to Lake Ataghi ( sp?) where the owner had some kayaks and a canoe. The younger children enjoyed the beach area and shallow lake area that was roped off. The playground near the lake has just been redone and is fabulous! There are numerous waterfalls and trails in the area. There was never a dull moment!

Family Reunion

We loved every minute of our stay here! The description of the house is very accurate…lovely, comfortable, well stocked and well located. We were there for a family reunion where all activities were outside of Connestee. We were able to enjoy one of the near by lakes and some of the trails and appreciated all of the water toys and suggestions. Shannon is a terrific host and offered great suggestions, all of which for the area are spot on! One cannot review this house without mentioning the view…which is amazing and ever changing. Awesome in all respects!

We have stayed in several gorgeous VRBO homes, and Shannon and Mike’s Connesttee Falls home rates at the very top. We could not have asked for better communication with the owners. Shannon is amazing!

Great property with a STUNNING view!

Well-equipped home with a STUNNING view. The home was clean, nicely decorated and loaded with necessities. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of needed essentials for a Thanksgiving feast. The host was very communicative and was great! I would highly recommend this property and host.

Heavenly Getaway!

Just wow! Everything about this stay was excellent! Shannon was an excellent host, the view was the most beautiful we have ever seen from the expansive deck. The house was more like a home. Best Family Reunion

Perfect home for our family of 9, including one 8-yr-old. The gorgeous view (we even saw a bear cub!) and proximity to the lakes and sporting facilities was invaluable. The host family was in constant communication with advice to every question about the community and facilities - they could not have been nicer or more helpful! We made use of their kayaks as well as the basketball, volleyball, pickle ball, and bocce ball courts. Running over to Sliding Rock and Mount Pisgah was a breeze. Our favorite times were meals and games around the dining table - room for all of us to enjoy. Entry into the community and the house was simple, and there is plenty of space for parking multiple cars. Again, cannot say enough nice things about the hospitality of the hosts.

Family wedding at “The pretty place”

Home was perfect size for our needs. 8 adults and 2 twelve year olds. Shannon was an exceptional host. Easy to reach with my many questions before hand. Easy check in and out. Kitchen was equipped with everything that was needed. The kids loved the game room and fuse table. Beds are very comfy and lots of throw blankets to use. Sat outside each morning with my coffee and blanket to take in the absolutely breathtaking view of the mountains on the balcony. Even had deer in driveway early in the morning. Location is 1/2 mile from clubhouse which was where the wedding reception was held. Hiking was great. Only wish we had a week up there instead of 3 nights. Very spacious home with a beautiful view. Kids played pickle ball and volleyball near by. Would love to be there in the summer or fall next time. Carol k

Great Views!

We really enjoyed our stay! The views from the back deck are absolutely beautiful! The house was very clean. All the furnishings were comfortable for relaxing. The house was well equipped for cooking. The location is convenient to Brevard. The host was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants. All-round great place to stay!

Lovely home with a view!

We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful home with picturesque views - the sunsets were amazing!! The host was most accommodating and helpful! The home was fully stocked with everything you could ever need. My husband and I enjoyed every moment of our stay and loved exploring the area. We had been to other mountain destinations, but this area during peak leaf season cannot be beat!! Hope to return soon!!

Such a perfect location in Connestee

This home fit our extended family perfectly. Kiddos downstairs and adults upstairs. Super well stocked kitchen. Easy quick drive to lake and pool. Quick walkable access to a great trail for morning walks.

Fun for Everyone

Beautiful views from inside and out, on the back deck from dining, master sofa and comfortable chairs. Swings, games, puzzles and markers to color for the kids. Paddleboards, kayaks and floats for the lake. Many hiking trails inside and outside the community and close to this private Connestee Falls property. Well organized and stocked, with labeled first aid kit, tools, pantry and more. Very accessible and helpful host. Don't miss Cedar Mountain Cafe for breakfast or lunch.

Wonderland

Million dollar long range views in a large beautiful home. Shannon is the perfect host who handles any questions or little problems immediately. We stayed 2 weeks in 2019 and 1 month this year. Connestee Falls is wonderful community and there is a myriad of activities available in the community, near by and in the city of Brevard. Shannon has everything needed to enjoy activities. My most favorite, however, was sitting on the porch, enjoying the company of my wife, the cool mountain weather, a glass of wine, and breathtaking sunsets over the distant mountain ranges.

Summer Weekend

House was clean and comfortable. Perfect for kids with the lower level. Master bed was super comfy and the master shower was very nice. Kitchen was well stocked and had all the spices that we could ever need for cooking meals at the house. Owner was very attentive and quick to respond with my questions. There’s also a pack-n-play which meant one less thing for us to bring. Really enjoyed our stay. Brevard is a lovely small college town with great proximity to Pisgah and lots of waterfalls and trails nearby.

Peace and quiet

It began a hard rain as we drove up to the guard gate. No one on duty. Had to get access thru a speaker that seem to have a delay and difficult to understand. There is no cell service at the check-in gate. However, the property was as described, great view, peaceful and quiet which is what we wanted. WE will like to stay again.

Winter Break

Our group had a wonderful long weekend at this lovely home and enjoyed hiking at Pisgah, fabulous dining, and shopping in Brevard! Shannon was wonderful to work with and we would definitely stay here again. We would recommend all wheel drive to reach home in snowy or wet weather. The house is at the very top of the mountain.

Beautiful Mountain Home

We had a perfect weekend with our teen children and dogs. The house is beautiful and exactly as described. Shannon is incredibly helpful and patiently answered all of our questions. The neighborhood is incredible and has fantastic hiking trails just minutes from the house. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Better Than Anticipated!

The photos of this home do not do it any justice!! The view was a true Mountain View and it was gorgeous. You’re so high up in the mountains that clouds roll through. The home was SO cozy and comfortable. We had everything we needed and no issues whatsoever during our stay. It’s only a short 15 minute drive through the most beautiful roads to get into downtown Brevard which is a quaint small town with great boutiques and restaurants. We will definitely be back as the owner accommodated our pets and short notice for booking. Thank you, Shannon!

We live in Ocala Fl, Have a blended family with 8 kids and almost 8 grandkids. We have always enjoyed going to the mountains for Christmas Break and a few years ago while my daughter was competing in Tryon for a horse show we looked around in Brevard and finally found a place we could not pass up. We have loved it and enjoyed it very much.
