About the property

Newly built Victorian House with incredible mountain views and amenities.

The Alpine Perch is a special combination of expansive views, downtown location, and new condition.

The home is perched above all neighbors, w/ 270 degree views of the surrounding Mosquito Range, Continental Divide and Turquoise Lake.

Built in 2003, this adorned Victorian is in immaculate condition and offers amenities such as a jetted tub, whole house audio system, and remote controlled fireplaces.

Everything is steps away, including the main street, rec center, parks, and trails!

___1st FLOOR___

Living room - Find a soft furry blanket and rest by the remote controlled fireplace. Turn on the television and watch a show with the DVD player or Apple TV. Pull up a tall stool up to the kitchen countertop to refill your popcorn bowl and crack open another refreshment.

Kitchen & dining - Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Countertop appliances include a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and crock pot. Parallel to the kitchen is a large farmhouse style table (expandable to 8 people), feeling just like home.

Behind the kitchen is a 1/2 bath and door to the oversized garage.

___2nd FLOOR___:

Bedroom #1 - upstairs facing north towards Turquoise lake. Enjoy watching clouds sail by over the lake, or resting on the queen bed.

Kids Bedroom - upstairs facing east, between the bathroom & master bed. This room remains quiet, despite the activity in the rest of the house.

Master Bedroom - Fall asleep in the queen bed after putting the in-room gas fireplace on a timer. Wake up in the morning to the adjacent sunroom, and fling open the back deck doors, and breath in deeply the endless views of the highest mountains in the country.

Sunroom - 2 chaise lounge chairs for resting in the sun under the 6 sky-light windows and 8 picture-windows, full of views. A game table and hutch with games & puzzles awaits for your down time. Stay warm & cooled in this indoor room, while feeling as if you're exposed to the outdoor elements.

Back deck - Open the sunroom doors to the back deck, and bring your camera and soul. You can see 10 of Colorado's 14,000ft mountains from this perch. Two patio chairs with ottomans invite you to stay and wonder.

Guests access their private home after receiving the home address and a reservation-specific front door code that will be valid for the duration of the reservation.

We are available in person at any time by phone, if you should need assistance.

Amazing home!

  • 5 of 5

Great home for a family visit to Leadville! There were only three of us, but we would have had room for several more comfortably. Extremely clean and well cared for property; absolutely no surprises. I would definitely book again.

Loved this cozy, charming spot!

This home has so much character and was extremely clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and you're close to the shops and restaurants in town. We loved the sunroom and the beautiful mountain views! Definitely hope to return someday.

We really enjoyed this property while visiting for a skiing vacation. The wainscot finish, fireplaces, 2nd floor sunroom, and bead board ceiling really make the place feel unique and cozy. We had plenty of space for the six of us. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with cookware and there were many games to enjoy with the family. The garage is a bonus, especially during the winter months. The location is within walking distance of downtown. We enjoyed SkiCooper and the nearby tubing hill and outdoor ice skating.

Very nice house. Great launch point for Leadville area skiing/activities.

  • 5 of 5

Clean, comfortable, great location and views, and it smelled nice. Had pretty much everything we needed in the nice kitchen. The extra tall garage door let us park our Honda Pilot with a Yakima Rack on top with no problem, which was really nice. Sounds like street parking can be a problem at other Leadville homes; not so here. The house is wired for Apple, so if you are an iUser, you will have greater connectivity to the AppleTv and sound system. Will stay here again, despite being an Android/Samsung guy.
