My daughter and I had a wonderful time here. Cottage was very clean, welcoming, and well appointed. We loved having the playground just steps away from the deck. Close to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here for a week. The cottage was clean and has a nice deck, it’s in a great location, near the national seashore, shopping and restaurants. We had an issue with the hot water but the owner was very responsive and took care of the issue.

Nice option with small kids

This 2-bedroom cabin was a good option for a long weekend in Wellfleet with our 2 small children (5 and 2). The cabin was well equipped with what we needed for a short stay and was in a nice location along Route 6 to access restaurants, beaches and shops. We would stay here again.

The unit was very clean. All the chairs and beds were very comfortable. Coinvent parking and located in a very quiet area. Located perfectly for day trips to either Providence or Hyannis. While the unit is a bit small, it was cozy and perfect for two people. Suggestions for improvement: add a microwave, a dustpan and broom, and another table in the kitchen.

Weekend getaway

Location was great! Near many beaches. Short drive to Ptown. The cottage was great. Update the book for the TV so visitors know to use Sling. Also, a mirror in the second bedroom would be great.

Perfect Spot

Our little cottage was perfect for our family. 1 couple, 1 child (9yrs) and another adult family member stayed in unit 2. The little playground was nice for our daughter and there is an outdoor shower for grownups! Very close to the Wellfleet Drive-In, Truro and Orleans. Being right on route 6 made it very convenient to get from place to place. Brian, our host, was very easy to communicate with and had wonderful suggestions. We look forward to staying again here. Few notes:Kitchen has decent supplies, grill works great, outdoor table has plenty of seating, will need your own login for apps on the smart tv, no microwave and a large fridge.

Perfect!

The cottage was perfect for 3 of us: my husband, a good friend, and me. It was comfortable, charming, very clean, in a perfect location, and had everything one would need to be happy. We loved having outdoor showers. And we loved breakfast on the deck. We have already recommended it to friends.

Good place to spend some time

That place is good for adults that doesn’t make any noise or have kids, I have 2 little kids and unfortunately the neighbor was knocking the wall every time my kid was running or screaming , and it was at the afternoon, not after 9:30 pm , but besides that everything is good, it’s not a 5 star , but it’s good for few days, by the way there is no washer machine and no dished washer .

I really like the cottage.. when I arrived, it was very clean.. the cottage itself was exactly what I was looking for for my getaway. It was very cute.. it was the perfect size for me.. the only complaint that I have is the first night that I was there. It was very cold out and the heater in the cabin was not working. I called the next day and the owner was very responsive and called me right back but unfortunately, he could not get anybody there to service it until after I was leaving, there was a small space heater in the closet that I had to use.. other than that my stay was very nice and I really did enjoy the cottage..

Overall, my stay was very good. The only thing is the first night it was very cold out and the heater was not working in the cabin. I reached out to the property contact they got me in contact with the property owner. Unfortunately they couldn’t get anyone out to fix it until after I was gone so I had to use the space heater overall it was very nice. That was the only negative of the trip and the property owner was very responsive. He did reach out to me right away and he tried to get someone there to fix it.. unfortunately, it was a weekend and he couldn’t get anybody out there..

Listing description really needs to be corrected

I felt that this was a nice place but that a number of things were misleading in the ad. First of all the W/D is not in the unit. When I asked about it I was told it was mainly for the owner's use & requires quarters. Also I never saw a hair dryer. The description said the location type was "water view" but the only view was the road or trees. Also says that restaurants were within "walking distance" but walking to a restaurant involved crossing a busy hi-way, not a risk I wanted to take with a 3 yr old. Not related to the advertising, but another issue was no description of where the lockbox was located and where to dispose of the garbage. Kind of important things to know. For families with young children be aware that the bathroom is very tiny (it's basically impossible to fit in with a toddler). Also, the window coverings don't do much to block the light so expect very early wake-ups. Overall, we were disappointed and ended leaving a day early.

Based on your feedback we have made the following changes: - We put a hairdryer in the bathroom - We corrected the listing to take away “water view.” - We moved the lockbox to a more obvious, convenient location that you see as soon as you walk up - We've added a welcome book with all of the information regarding distance to restaurants and where to throw away the trash. Again, we're sorry that you didn’t have a great time. You were one of our firsts guests, and we appreciate your feedback to help us improve and make our cottage more welcoming."

very comfortable

This cottage was very clean and accommodating, located on a quiet piece of property. The bathroom was quite small and a bit mildewy but fine enough for us. The kitchen sufficient. The wall between the guest bedroom and the cottage next door was very thin because I heard the neighbor SNORE ALL night long. (Even with earplugs). Hopefully they are not permanent residents of that cottage.
