ABOUT COPPER MOUNTAIN: Known as the 'Locals Favorite,' Copper Mountain is the largest ski and snowboard resort in Summit County. It is also the only ski resort that features naturally separated terrain, allowing beginners, intermediates, and experts to ski and ride on their own distinct areas of the mountain. Its central location (situated between Breckenridge/Keystone to the east and Vail to the west) makes it ideal for the guest who wants to get out and enjoy other resorts as well.

With 2433 acres of ski able terrain, Copper Mountain is the biggest and least crowded mountain resort area in Summit County, Colorado. Despite being the biggest, it has the least amount of lodging units available which is the main reason for Copper's uncrowded lifts and runs. With its naturally divided ski terrain that separates skiers by ability across the mountain, Copper has been called 'the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the United States' by the Forest Service.

It’s also known as the Local’s Favorite. Perhaps that’s due to Copper’s long, steep mogul runs, or its ample above-timberline open bowl skiing.

Spacious, well-stocked, and big Copper Mountain condo!

  • 5 of 5

We've rented a fair number of properties through VRBO and this Passage Point condo was definitely one of the better-equipped places, with plenty of extra towels, sheets, dishes, and glasses. The owners even had spare toilet paper, paper towels, and shampoo and bath soap in the bathrooms. The couch was big enough for the whole group to hang out and we definitely appreciated the boot dryer. The location was right in Center Village and the huge hot tubs were a big bonus after a day of skiing. Josh was great at answering questions quickly. Would definitely rent this condo again!

Great condo for a family getaway

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay for the week of the Leadville 100 MTB! The condo was perfect for our family of five: 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 baths! The kitchen had all the basics so we didn't have to eat out. Family enjoyed all the bike trails of the area while our race participant trained at altitude. We took advantage of the hot tubs every evening, especially after race day. Highly recommend!

Great Condo Conveniently Located

  • 5 of 5

We were very pleased with our experience staying at Passage Point #427. The condo was very well maintained and the property is located about 200 yards from the American Eagle ski lift. We had four family members for the trip, but the condo is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 6+ people.

A Great Ski Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Great Property! Very clean and well maintained. Close to the lifts and great amenities for a ski vacation (ski locker, boot dryer etc..). Plenty of room. May want to consider some upgrades to mattresses and kitchen supplies but overall a great place.
