Casita del Viajero's incredible location is only paralleled by its charm and comfort. With free high-speed internet, and a small workspace, it is perfect for remote work.  Venture outside, and you are are minutes from Santa Fe's best neighborhoods and finest restaurants. Radish and Rye, Restaurant Martin, Saveur Bistro, Tomasitas, Paloma and more are less than five minutes away from your casita on foot. The Plaza and Railyard are both five minutes away as well, so all of Santa Fe's hottest attractions will be right at your fingertips!



LIVING AREA

The cozy living room is bright, relaxing, and features a decorative kiva fireplace and Smart TV equipped with complimentary YouTube LIVE. The vintage gas fireplace provides warmth and ambiance, and is situated near to the convenient workspace.



KITCHEN AND DINING

Prepare any meal in the full kitchen, equipped with electric stove-top and oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, and toaster.



BED AND BATH

The beautiful master bedroom area boasts a comfortable queen size bed, and is accented by an antique bedroom bench. The bedroom also sports an armoire with drawers and hanging space. The bathroom features a shower-tub combo.

Great location and cute place to stay. The kitchen was fully stocked and the decor was simple, chic, and homey. I loved the screen door which allowed for a cool breeze in the room in room. The place was within walking distance to downtown.

Our favorite place was already booked, so we booked here. Overall, it's a nice place, if somewhat corporate. I requested extra bath gel/shampoo (there was not nearly enough for two people/5 days) and they were responsive. I did have a follow-up question after we left, to which I've not received a reply. If our fav place is available, I would always choose it, but this place was well-located, clean and attractive, and I'd consider it in the future.

This is by far the best VRBO I’ve stayed at! It was very cozy and comfortable, they even had Epsom salts for the bathtub. The kitchen was well stocked, the heating and cooling instructions were clear, the bed was comfortable; it felt very homey. And being in walking distance of the downtown was perfect!

Spring vacation in Santa Fe

Beautiful property with ideal location. Very quiet and close to many activities. Super walk-able! We will stay there again if we can.

Great location and hosts.

The location was perfect to walk to The Plaza and all it has to offer. Communication was easy and timely. This property is well maintained, clean and updated. The hosts pamper their guests with much appreciated extras. We will definitely stay here again!

Great spot for 2 college friends!! Very convenient location, extremely well appointed with lovely towels, sheets, bath accessories, and welcome treats. Would definitely come back and recommend. The space is exactly as advertised.

This is a small, very generic unit in a fabulous location. Easy walking to the Plaza and the railyard. The property manager was very helpful between 9 and 5.

Sweet & Comfy Casita

OMG - it’s everything promised. A big plus is the Whole Foods Market in walking distance & a kitchen equipped for cooking. Loved the Botanical Gardens - & the Folk Art Museum with their current native Alaskan Parka exhibit. Wow!

Wonderful stay in a great location!

We loved this casita! Very clean, well appointed, great location, thoughtful welcome gift. Our only wish would be a better AC. It just wasn’t quite cool enough at their recommended lowest setting. Everything else was perfect!!!

Santa Fe experience

This place was great. Very clean, close to downtown, and new updated furniture etc. Around the corner is Sage Bakehouse, Sante Fe Spirits and Andiamo restaurant all top rated places. Would definitely recommend. The host left us wine and chips. Very nice touch. Maria

The property was very clean, thoughtfully designed and furnished. It was warm and cozy when it was quite cold outside. We found it quite difficult to find initially, as it is tucked away up a small lane. This of course was not an issue once found.

Great location

Loved the location! Very clean, comfortable and mostly well-equipped casita. I didn’t find the kitchen terribly user-friendly (nothing but an 8x8 pan for reheating things, at least two of the stove-top burners didn’t work); the large puddle after a rain made it difficult to get in and out of the car because of the parking restrictions; there were no cleaning supplies for a longer stay (until I requested); no BBQ grill as advertised; and a lot of communication issues and misunderstanding with management. Despite all of that, I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Great Adventure

This home fit my needs. It was right in town yet peaceful. I was able to walk and take buses around Santa Fe. The description and photos were accurate. The room was extremely clean. It had each amenity except a washer and dryer, but I knew it before my arrival. The staff had exceptionally great communication with me. The town had many museums, art galleries, options to hike, cafes, and local shopping.

Convenient Location

Very clean and extremely convenient to downtown attractions. Location could not be more convenient to the Plaza and the Railyard all within a couple blocks and yet there was outdoor space available and a quiet street. Also there were several freebies of food items and toiletries which were totally unexpected. Unit was very comfortable for two or tree folks. Nice if you had pets. It is true that parking is tight for this unit but we parked O.K. with a midsize SUV but mostly walked. Drive can be easily missed the first time as it is a quick turn in as you turn the corner. Perhaps a flag or marker at the end of the drive would help.

Beautiful, haunted casita.

This property was exactly as advertised, very clean and lovely. However, it was haunted. We experienced unexplained disruptions, such as the alarm clock going off at 1:00 am when it was set for 7:00 am, a startled dog barking by the bed, the front door opening and closing in the quiet hours of the night, and most frightening, the bed covers were removed on our initial night, and a dark figure was standing at the foot of the bed. I imagine haunting a short term rental would be challenging, and it was clear to us this spirit wanted to see who we were, and to be appreciated. I have waited a couple of months to write this review for fear of being dismissed as a kook. But I am so curious to learn if other visitors have had encounters with the strong spirit inhabiting this space. I don't expect this review will be published, but I welcome any feedback from the host about the presence in the home.

Great location and stay

Centrally located casita within walking distance of everything. Very comfortable stay with little nice additions like a welcome basket and charging stations on both sides of the bed. We had a wonderful time sitting outside which was nicely shaded by the tree. Would definitely stay again!

Great Location; cozy, smart and comfy

Great little bungalow for a Santa Fe getaway. Well decorated and clean. Had everything one could need within comfortable walking distance from the Plaza. Parking was tight but easily manageable even with my big rental truck.
