McLeod Cottage -
This home-away-from-home is in downtown Charlevoix! A perfect space for a group, family, or couple’s getaway up north.
Guests always comment about the fantastic location...just two blocks from the heart of downtown Charlevoix in a quiet, private neighborhood.

The Home's Space:
-You will find this home to be very clean, comfortable, and accommodating! It has all the amenities you need for your stay, including air conditioning, a fully stocked kitchen, an open floor plan, multiple outdoor spaces, and laundry facilities.

Make this your home-away from home!
Settle in for breakfast using the fully equipped kitchen....or savor your coffee/tea and listen to the neighborhood wake up from the front porch! Hang out at the island while cooking, or host an outdoor dinner & drinks on the back patio.

The main living space is a fantastic area to hang out, featuring a kitchen with island and additional seating....all open to the living and dining areas.

Use the cottage to host a group! - It's a great space to entertain, visit, or use as a home base for all the activities downtown. The large sectional couch is extremely comfortable and has been known to soothe many cheering fans. You can spread out a board game at the coffee table....or, watch the big game/cozy up for a movie - with the 60" Smart Roku tv (including many cable tv stations).

Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning units, fans, and closets, with quality mattresses, comfortable bedding, and plenty of extras.

Bedroom 3- 2 twins.

The fully stocked kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, gas range, range hood, coffee maker/grinder, toaster, blender, plenty of kitchen/baking ware, etc. -Plenty of room to dine at the table, with additional seating at the island.

Additional amenities include air conditioning and fans, a washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, charcoal grill, cable tv, wi-fi, Blu-ray/dvd player, board games, yard games, backyard patio and dining area, fire pit, beach toys, camping chairs, and a 3-car driveway with additional parking on the street or adjacent parking lot.

Take advantage of our Outdoor spaces!:
Spend your evenings relaxing on the front porch or swing, play a game of Croquet on the front lawn, grill out on the back patio, or relax by the campfire and roast s'mores in the backyard.
You can walk to everything! Just a few blocks from:
-Events in the park, Bridge St. boutique shops, downtown marina, Oleson's Supermarket, movie theater, farmer's market, mushroom houses, splash pad, music concerts, local beaches, the drawbridge-Michigan beach lighthouse, channel, downtown bars & restaurants!

CENTRALLY LOCATED in Northern Michigan -A home base to explore:
On the south side of the bridge in town, the cottage is only a short drive to many of Northern Michigan's fantastic small towns, lakes, festivals, golf courses, art shows, breweries/wineries, and outdoor recreation areas!

-5 minutes to: Castle Farms & many of Charlevoix's wedding/function venues, Ferry Beach, Lake Charlevoix access boat ramp, golf courses, Ironton Ferry
-10 minutes to: Bay Harbor, 5+ Golf Courses, the Bay View Wine/Brewery Trail, Friske Orchards, Chain-o-Lakes
-30 minutes or less to: Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Boyne Mountain/Boyne Highlands, Boyne City, East Jordan, Elk Rapids, Torch Lake, Bellaire, ski resorts

For our WINTER TIME guests!:
Break away from the hustle and bustle of the ski hills and stay in downtown Charlevoix!
In addition to its own little ski hill-Mt. McSauba- (GREAT downhill skiing for kids!! - snowshoeing & candlelight hikes, too), this cottage is just a half hour drive to most SKI RESORTS- Knubs Knob, BOYNE properties, Shanty Creek, Schuss Mountain.
Relax in Charlevoix and slow down the pace after a day outside!
Enjoy our wintertime festivals (see Charlevoix Chamber of Commerce website), downtown boutique shops, live music venues, restaurants, local candlelight hikes at Mt. McSauba, breweries/wineries/distilleries, and cross country skiing-snowshoeing-hiking at Fisherman's Island State Park, just a few minutes away! We love giving our guests tips and recommendations for activities, stops, local hotspots, and unique experiences nearby...feel free to check in with us after booking!
PARKING: Driveway (3 vehicles), street parking, plus potential for more if needed.
