As you pull into the private driveway of The Milky Way cabin, excitement builds. Nestled among trees and hidden from the street, you immediately feel a sense of privacy and serenity. Stepping out, you glimpse the shared hot tub and imagine yourself soaking in its warmth later. The peaceful surroundings invite you to relax and breathe in the fresh air. But the rooftop deck calls to you. Climbing the stairs, you're met with a stunning 360-degree view of the Texas sky, perfect for stargazing or watching deer roam the meadow. This 400 sq ft cabin offers a private bath, fully equipped kitchen, and a pillow-top King Bed positioned perfectly to enjoy the glow of the electric fireplace. In the kitchen, you'll smile at the colorful farm-fresh eggs hidden in a ceramic Mexican chicken, ready to inspire a delicious breakfast.

Wonderful beautiful property we loved the cabins and stars at night were something to marvel at

Carl and Rhonda went over and above making sure my wife’s birthday was perfect they called me before and offered to get roses locally sourced fruit and chocolates and a bottle of champagne and a banner saying happy birthday their hospitality was amazing and refreshing. And everything was perfect for 💕my Wife💕.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

When we were looking to change the direction and stress of the city life, we started looking coast to coast for a turn-key property. Rhonda did not want snow, I did not want 120 degree weather. When we first set foot on the property and experienced the view from our house, we were pretty much sold! It was larger than what we were looking for, we were looking for a 4-5 unit property and Walnut Canyon Cabins was an established 7 cabin property. With the spectacular view of the canyon from 5 cabins and two cabins with star gazing rooftop decks we know this property was special and we wanted it!

We are secluded, but close enough to enjoy most all of what we like to do, we just travel to enjoy what is not here. We have kept the cabins off the grid for the purpose of allowing folks to slow down, notice the Painted Buntings and deer, the Armadillos and other wild life that grace our place all the time.

The Texas Wine trail is a short distance away with every style of wine you can imagine! We have Bourbon Distilleries, Breweries, museums and more!

We have free range chickens that run the property and young cows that love to be fed cow treats from your hands. The treats are provided! We also supply corn for deer to be thrown out of the cabin for the deer that live in the area and are our constant guests! Breakfast items of Farm fresh eggs, locally smoked Canadian bacon, locally roasted coffee, biscuit dough and more that is stocked in your cabin for you to prepare and enjoy from the leisure of your cabin while enjoying the breath-taking view from the deck. We are happy to change items out to accommodate dietary preferences, IE Gluten free, vegetarian, Vegan etc.

The Milky Way Cabin is decorated with original artwork from a Houston Artist and is available for purchase to take as a souvenir!
