This place was great for us. Good location. Very roomy and comfortable. Had a little trouble adjusting the shower head. It was too high to reach. Could have used some hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels. Not trying to be picky , just suggestions.

My birthday getaway to Maine!

Cute & quiet cabin around a good area not too far from everything!
View of owner’s home at 4:23 am! I didn’t realize it gets light out so early here?!! 😳
Stream sounds so nice from the cabin… after a little walk…

Adorable cabin

This was such a cute place. Felt very homy & comfortable. My kids truly enjoyed it there. They want to come back next year & stay here again. Highly recommend this place!

The location is great and it is very peaceful. However, it should have been cleaned better prior to our arrival. The floors and counters could have been cleaner, as there was a fair amount of dirt and crumbs. There was a sticky spill on the coffee table that had to be cleaned up, the ceiling fans were covered in dust and cobwebs and we cleaned them prior to using. The biggest offender was the overpowering smell of mothballs. There were also mouse droppings in the closet that held the extra bedding.

We found the place perfectly clean, and I could detect no scent of mothballs. The place was perfect for us because our dog tends to bark loudly when he hears, or thinks he hears, sounds outside. The apt is sufficiently far from the main house, that I doubt anyone could hear him. Some room for improvement: no ceramic/glass serving bowls (there were 2 plastic bowls), no serving spoons. In the bathroom, the decorative towel bar pulls out of the wall. A solid bar with room for two bath towels would be good. Also a few hooks in the bathroom would be nice as well.We were there for some very hot days and the air conditioning was very good.All in all, a good place to stay for people who have dogs.

Not our cup of tea

It’s the small touches and fulfillment of preferences that make a good rental experience, and this one missed the mark for us. The bathroom featured a leaky shower stall, paper thin towels, and the toilet was not the cleanest. The Keurig was moldy and we cleaned it, but then thought better of it and went out to get coffee instead.

Great spot!

We loved staying at this apartment! It was very clean & cozy. Super quiet & a beautiful setting. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be staying here!

Great place!

We had a wonderful time in this rental. It was my me, my fiancé and our pup. The place was clean and looked just like the pictures. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely go back!
