Weekend trip to Helen

We stayed here with our adult children and their spouses, and our grandson. This place was just right for us with spaces to hang out together. The only thing that I would recommend is that some of the seating(chairs at the table and tall stools) need to be updated. Some of them are wobbly.

This home was well equipped. Close to Tubing and downtown Helen, Enough room to fit12 comfortably. Was easy to get in touch if you have questions. Easy ck in and out process.We had a great time and wish we had stayed longer.

Great stay with friends!

The property was great and just as advertised. Only issue was the automatic door lock on front door wasn’t working so we had to go around to basement door every time. Not an issue though. Very comfortable and clean.

It was my first time ever staying in Helen. It was out of a story book!! Staying at the condo so close to all the action was the best part. The condo was absolutely perfect. Modern Swiss Alps vibes. I can’t wait to go back!

Close to the strip

This property would be nice during warmer months. They seem to be doing renovations at the time of our stay so some things are in it's raw form. Owner is very friendly and accommodating!

This home was absolutely perfect. Just as the pictures display it. Excellent location. Friendly communication. I would definitely book with the property and the company again. The listing is operated by Evolve. This is the second listing I have rented from the company and I was very pleased each time.

North GA Adventure

We enjoyed our time. The property was convenient to many small mountain towns. The property was clean. The communication was good. The beds were comfortable. It does need a little TLC as it is older. The stairs creak very loud when going up and down it did wake others who were sleeping. We would have preferred more privacy as far as window coverings.

The Condo was clean and tidy. The kitchen had most utensils for making meals. It was close to town and not too far from the tubing waterpark. The beds however were very firm and the upper area where the mater bedroom is was very warm. There is a small floor fan but it did little to help with the heat.

Great location

The location and price were excellent. The 4 bedrooms were great with the adjoining bathrooms. The kitchen was good for cooking in with our family. We loved the city of Helen. The property hostess was very helpful in providing me with information. The only down side of this property is the single beds are located at the top of the stairs, part of the hall. This is not a room. Not ideal for adults who would like to have a door to close to change clothes or sleep. This spot is perfect for adventurous adults or children.

Wedding weekend for family.

Upstairs AC did not work so was very hot while dressing and sleeping. The rest of the house felt nice. The main floor shower had NO HOT WATER AT ALL but the sink was very hot. No other issues at all!

3 Story Condo Exceptional

This unit is an end unit. It has two parking spots assigned. Other cars have to park in visitor spots, which are difficult to find on a busy weekend. This unit can accommodate a family of 12 comfortably. It has one screened in porch and an open porch, which is on the bottom floor. It has a small charcoal grill. There is plenty of seating on both porches. The living room has a large L shaped comfortable sofa. It also has two small chairs. The kitchen is quite small, but it can handle a family of 12. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, plenty of dishes, measuring cups lots of glasses. I can’t say enough how they thought of everything for the kitchen. The dining room table can seat 7. There is a round table in the screened porch on the same floor that can be used to eat at also.The unit has an extra refrigerator in the basement and a sink and counter area. There are all kinds of extra items in the closets. They have three standing fans upstairs. They have games and a large Jenga game. They have ceiling fans in most of the rooms. The unit is decorated nicely very cozy. You can also walk down to the river behind the next complex. We rented a golf cart and in no time we were downtown. You also can walk it’s not far. This location is close to everything cool River tubing, escape, rooms, wine tasting, restaurants, putt putt golf, and the waterpark is right across the river. The owners are quick to respond & personal!will be renting again and again!!Best rental experience!!

Apparently the Owners were not interested in our comfort and happiness.

When we checked in the thermostat was set @ 60 * It was cold outside and so we tried all evening to raise the thermostat. but after calling the Rental people the next morning the Owner was controlling the thermostat. We were told that someone would come out the day. but it didn’t happen. The. We called and reported that there was only hot water in 2 of the 4 Bathrooms (there were 10 Ladies). So we called back about that on the. 3rd day and someone came out and the Person that stayed behind that day was told that you just do they warm water in all bathrooms at the same time. We had had our reservations for 0ver 3 months and we were never offered a refund for our inconvenience of trying to stay warm the 1st 2 days a d were told that the Owner said we would just have to deal w/ no light in the living room, because you couldn’t turn the fan off, and too bad the fan in the master Bedroom made a terrible noice. And nothing would be done about the handrail coming up on the front porch was loose and posed a Safety issue. Not very happy w/ that Owner. I do feel like the Rental Company tried to help. Just had no cooperation from the Owner.

There's a lot to like

This is a great space for up to 10 people (we had 8). Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, well-spaced. The kids loved the cubby sleeping spaces. 2 living spaces, with games in the lower section. Plenty of room in the dining area. Everything you need in the kitchen as far as dishes and cookware, and appliances. Short drive to town, and a water park nearby (in season). An enclosed porch made a nice space for morning coffee. We had just a bit of difficulty finding a few things at first, but property management was very helpful. We had a great time.

Great for Families of All Ages

Property was close to the attractions and met the needs of all of our family. Our family included 6 adults and 4 children under the age of 13. Everyone had a blast doing the tourist activities in Helen and relaxing around the condo. The size of the condo allowed us to spread out and had everything we needed to have a great stay.

Overall it was a good stay!

Pros: The location is perfect! The response to some issues we had was immediate and check in was so easy because we went right to the townhouse. We absolutely loved the screened in front porch and the living room! All in all, the house is very nice. Cons: This is not a criticism but more of a suggestion to improve lots of small things. The biggest issue was the cooling of the upstairs little cave beds. It was so hot that it was unbearable to sleep there, so we moved the girls downstairs. The other rooms upstairs were a little warm but bearable. They were very pretty. Now for the issues I think need some looking at. The dishwasher seemed to not be working correctly. The laundry room needs a cover on the light switch. I would put mjni blinds on the window in the main bedroom since the curtains are sheer.. Also if I were the owner, I would put a little inexpensive night stand and lamp in both the main bedroom and the one downstairs. There is one small table on the main floor bedroom but I used a stool on my side while we were there. The tv in the upstairs bedroom to the right does not fit the stand it is sitting on. This is a disaster waiting to happen with one leg of the tv hanging over. I would also stain the front porch entry and the porch downstairs. You notice it right away when you come up to the townhouse. There are a few other small issues that we saw with blinds, etc. but they were not a huge deal. Cosmetically it would look better to change out a few things.
