The Space:
Welcome to Seaside Sunset, a picturesque vacation home nestled atop the dunes of Lieutenant Island in Wellfleet. With the salty breeze tousling your hair, you'll arrive at this multi-level sanctuary boasting wraparound and rooftop decks, offering panoramic views of the surrounding seascape. *A hot tub will be installed and ready for use by July 15th, 2025.

Inside, natural light floods through expansive windows, illuminating the tasteful nautical decor and highlighting the high ceilings. Whether you're lounging in one of the two spacious living rooms or reclining on the plush furnishings, there's ample space for the whole family to unwind after a day of seaside adventures. Poland Springs Water is delivered to this home weekly to ensure that there is always fresh drinking water - due to the location of this home, the tap water is occasionally salty.

Spend your days basking on the nearby beach or exploring the waters with provided kayaks. As the sun sets, retreat to the rooftop deck where you can sip your evening cocktail while soaking in the breathtaking 360-degree views.

When it's time to explore the local scene, a short drive will take you to the iconic Wellfleet Drive-In or to the nearby Cape Cod Rail Trail for a leisurely bike ride. Beautiful location, but tap water is undrinkable

The location of this home is absolutely stunning, with 180 degree views. The house is spacious and the top floor has lots of light. However, the well is infiltrated with sea water and is not drinkable, and should be disclosed ahead of time.

This is our second stay on Lt. Island but our first at this property. Lovely home perched atop a hill affording water views. Home very much like the pictures. Would suggest the home isnt great for toddlers - no gates to deck’s stairs or interior spiral staircase. As other reviews mention the well water is brackish, but plenty of bottled water is provided. The a/c is just window units - so the home can get quite warm on the upper level on sunny afternoons.

Ok

Views were very good. Lots of bugs, ants, crickets, inside and mosquitoes outside. Tap water undrinkable and smelly , showers are unpleasant little hot water. Big surprise- the house is obviously collapsing into the ocean due to huge beach erosion. Go for the view but don’t stay long.

Great location

Overall the house was in a great location. You can only access the beach if it is low tide. You have to time it correctly or there is no beach at all. Please note that the water coming from the shower and the sink is completely salty. Bring plenty of water for coffee and drinking. Especially to make ice cubes. We found out the hard way about the water after making ice cubes. Never have had salt water in a house before. Place was very clean and the rooftop deck is amazing.
