Pocono Mountains chalet rentals

This house was perfect for our crew of 5 Moms and 7 teens. Upon check in, we found the house to be very clean, sheets in baggies on each bed and comfortable furnishings. As the lease states there were no towels, or paper products, soaps etc. supplied..but we were surprised that there were also no garbage bags supplied. We did a last minute instacart order after settling in got delivery by 11pm. Communication with the owner was very good as we did find a water leak coming from a locked closet - the concierge and plumber showed up within hours. The kids loved the downstairs area with the pool table and TV, easy access to backyard and we Moms loved the upstairs common area and wrap around deck. The location was central to our weekend plans (Lantern Festival at Pocono Raceway and ATV ride at Alvin's ATV). We loved the fire pit out back - make sure you get firewood at the gas station as needed (none supplied). There's also horseshoe games and cornhole provided. The kitchen was big and spacious, plenty of room for 3 moms to be working in at the same time. All appliances worked as needed and although we did bring an additional large frying pan, there seemed to be enough pots/pans supplied. One note: the smoke detectors are VERY SENSITIVE, which is a good thing...but before you cook bacon, open some windows and turn on the fans. When one detector goes off, they all do.. and they're loud - the ones downstairs actually say "FIRE". Great VRBO experience.

The location was fantastic, the kitchen fully stocked, the manager attentive. What more could you ask for?

MountainWoods Chalet was awesome! The whole property was inviting. The main floor was open and airy with plenty of seating in the livingroom area for relaxing and around the dining table where 10 of us were not crowded during meals and game playing. It was nice to not have to worry about packing linens and towels or hand soaps, dish detergents, laundry soaps, paper towels, etc....The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cutlery and glasses. The propane fire pit was awesome. Sitting on the deck in the morning and listening to the birds and watching the deer was relaxing. Ellen was quick to respond if we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

As frequent VRBO users, our group found Russel's home to be one of the best we have ever used. The home itself is beautiful, with lots of space for everyone. I think we used every part of the house with the exception of the upstairs sitting room! The deck has a beautiful view, plenty of chairs are available at the fire pit, the kitchen table was perfect for eating as well as playing games and plenty of room on the living room couch. Our group really enjoyed playing Pac Man in the game area too! The amenities in the home were terrific. It was great to not worry about sheets, towels and those other little things you usually need to pack for a rental...they thought of everything! There were big coffee mugs, great pots/pans and even plastic dishes/lids for leftovers! Our group enjoyed the lake and the pool. We were a little disappointed that the community isn't very pet friendly, but there we felt very comfortable walking our dogs around the development, that they had plenty of exercise. They too enjoyed the deck and plenty of room in the house to spread out. Candace and Russel were great with communication and offered guidance to our questions. I'd highly recommend this home and our group hopes to visit again sometime.

The stay and experience far exceeded expectations. House is brand new, clean, and with great layout which works well for all ages. Perfect location close to the lake to enjoy boating/fishing with plenty of activities nearby. Owner is very accommodating and responded immediately answering any questions regarding our stay. We will be back again!

Clean, comfortable and good location for anyone going to Poconos. Community amenities and locations very Hosts are very helpful and easy to reach.

Amazing house! My kids didnt want to leave. Had everything you need to feel right at home. Community had a beautiful lake, park, volleyball. Close to everything. Host John was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
