  • Beautiful time at this lovely home

"We spent a great week at this beautiful property right on the beach. Centrally located to some really good restaurants and shopping if you are in the mood but the sheer beauty of the beach steps away from your back doorway will keep you put. The condo is tastefully decorated and so clean and cozy. We are leaving rejuvenated and ready to take on whatever life throws our way. Do yourself a favor and stay here! You will not regret it."

  • Folly Full of Charm

"Our family's week-long stay at "The Folly" was delightful. We were a family gathering from two years of age to ninety and there was something for everyone. Comfortable in many spacious living areas, there are two main living rooms; one more modern with a TV, bar, high top table for those interests and a darkly paneled (but well-lit) dining/reading/playing hall, that accommodated many varied activities. Bedrooms were very pleasant. However, the beach beckoned and the beautiful setting was nothing short of magical. A short walk to the water's edge with beautiful sand and few people, it was a private paradise. Surfers and birds entertain endlessly. A couple of rainy afternoons gave the opportunity to play table tennis, foosball, and board games. The kitchen is cheerful, well-appointed with modern appliances. There are may eating areas in the house and lots of nearby restaurants, takeout options and grocery stores (we especially liked Sunseed Food Co-op, Brano's Italian Grill and up the road a bit in Melbourne Beach, Ocean 302 Bar & Grill). Martinis on the Folly's widow's walk at sunset were amazing, complete with view and ambience to beat any cinematic backdrop. The property is clean and well-maintained albeit older in many aspects. It was very easy to keep up with cleaning supplies provided and outdoor shower, foot-tubs at doors, etc. Denise Cloe was a pleasure to work with: very responsive in all communication and went above and beyond in letting us send some packages from Diapers.com ahead of time which she made sure were delivered to the house before our arrival. Generous and flexible, we very much appreciate having been able to stay in her amazing property! Finally a shout-out to Golf N Gator, Lighthouse Cove mini golf with 3 Scoops Ice Cream, The Dinosaur Store, Simply Delicious Cafe and Bakery and Ron Jon's - excursions to entertain preschoolers and geezers alike :)"

  • Great family vacation

"We recently rented 312 Sandcastle for a week's vacation. We found the condo to be exactly what we had hoped for. Everything was provided and lacked for nothing. The setting was close to many entertainment options, yet the beach was quiet and seemed relatively private."

  • Clean, comfortable, convenient.

"I just spent a long weekend here visiting family. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located to old Melbourne and other sites of interest. I would definitely recommend staying here."
