  • Family Time at Sanibel

"This was a great location for our young family and grandparent vacation! The setup is perfect with a kitchen and common area in the middle and then two wings with bedroom/bathroom on each end. Makes it easy to have privacy and gathering spaces. If you have a baby/toddler you'll be glad to know there is a pack 'n play (and a large walk-in closet to stick it in!). We also bought a booster highchair for future guests to use. The pool is lovely and close. The beach is gorgeous and a fun walk away. Ample towels and linens were provided. A few sand toys are there, a good number of chairs, an umbrella and a beach buggy to cart it all in. We took advantage of the canoes/kayaks and saw numerous shore birds, alligators, fish and a close look at the mangroves. Excellent place to make memories!"

  • Unit D203. Has had some updates could use a few more

"Kitchen newly remodeled. Needs new dishwasher, only because of squeaky door. Bathrooms have had some updating could use some more. King sized bed is comfortable but hard. Is quite squeaky when used a certain way!!!. Twin beds ok. We did not use pull out in living room but it did not look that comfortable. Plenty of kitchen and bath supplies. Property is old but kept up very nice Pool was warm, clean, and large. More than enough lounges. Very nice. Walk to beach is short (500 yds). Beach is nice, not great. No bars or much of anything else on beach. If you like quiet it is for you. To the north there are not even any houses on the beach, just natural. Island anemities are nice but expensive. Some very cool restaurants in Captiva. Traffic is slow. Leave early."

  • Restful and Relaxing

"I returned home yesterday from a week-long vacation staying in this lovely condo at Blind Pass. This was our first trip to Sanibel, and the entire experience was wonderful. I first contacted the owners in October about renting during Xmas week, and they were very responsive. Once we settled on the price and other details, I was put in touch with the Blind Pass Condo office staff to handle the deposit. Note that the balance of the rental fee had to be remitted via check rather than credit card. We arrived on Christmas day in the early evening. Our keys and instructions were waiting for us as advised. I checked in with the office couple of days later, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The unit was very clean and well stocked. I've stayed in many beach condos over the years, and I've never seen one that provided as much. It was nice not to have to bring beach gear as chairs, towels, toys, shell colleting items, etc. as all were provided. We got a comfortable, down to earth feel from the unit and complex. While not a newer place, it was well maintained with beautiful vegetation, flora, and fauna. There were two tennis courts, grills, pool, canoes and kayaks, and a shell cleaning area. All was in great shape and working order. We wanted for nothing. The weather could not have been better, and we enjoyed getting up early to watch the sunrise and discover the shells that had been left overnight by the tide. We were there during peak season, but it did not seem crowded to us. The only time that we noticed was when we went out to eat. There was a wait almost every place that we went. Some were longer than others, but we did not mind. We ate at Grandma Dot's, The Green Flash, The Lazy Flamingo, and Cheeburger, Cheeburger. All were worth the wait. We took a sunset cruise from Captiva and also toured the Darling Nature Preserve. These excursions were not crowed. Our party contained two 50+ adult couples, and the unit's roommate floor plan ensured that everyone had their own space. There was plenty of room. The screen porch was nice, and we liked eating breakfast at the table or reading in the afternoon. It was very relaxing and quiet. I would definitely recommended this unit and Blind Pass Condos. If you are looking for a place that is a bit removed from the hub-bub of Sanibel-Captiva, but still close enough to join in (if you desire), this is it. Thank you for a super vacation."

  • Fantastic place to just relax!

"The condo was top notch. Everything brand new and renovated. Every imaginable appliance you need, the owner has provided. The decor makes you feel like you are really at a beach house. Plenty of room for a large group. Beds are super comfy and every single room of the house looks and smells clean (no germaphobe issues here!). The owner most certainly made sure there are plenty of pool and beach toys for the kids to keep themselves busy. Even has board games and books for all ages to keep busy at night when you're not exploring the island. Nice little community with a clean decent size pool, tennis court, an area for grilling, and you can even rent canoes on the property. Very short walk to a private beach just for this community. Love this condo, truly feel like we can make this a home away from home. So glad we found this place, now we know where to stay whenever we come to Sanibel, worth every penny!!"
