For surfers, you also are only steps away when Sunset Beach hosts one leg of the Hawaiian Triple Crown competition. Ready to be the first one out, you are close enough to carry your board to Sunset, Backyards, Kammies or Velzyland. A few minutes drive gets you to any of the other great North Shore breaks including Pipeline, Lani’s and Waimea.

Waimea Bay Park and the world famous Polynesian Cultural Center are within a 15 minute drive. Visit the Pu'u Mahuka Heiau above Waimea Bay, with it's panoramic vista of the entire North Shore.
