Enjoy your morning coffee on your very private south-facing second floor balcony. After a quick check of your email you take a stroll on the beach before heading out for a day of San Diego sightseeing. In the evening, return to catch the sunset and maybe a glimpse of the green flash while enjoying the cooling Pacific breezes along the shore.

Newly remodeled from top to bottom and beautifully furnished, this brand new vacation rental duplex. This 1bdrm/1ba unit on the 2nd floor sits in an upscale neighborhood on Law Street just one block from the ocean with ocean views from the living room. Rent both the upper and lower units together for extended families or friends vacationing together.

Each unit has it's own large private balcony with table and chairs and gas BBQ. There are three beach cruiser adult bicycles for riding along the Pacific Beach and Mission Beach and Bay boardwalks, sea bird reserves or on the neighboring scenic drive through Bird Rock and La Jolla.

The light and airy living room with beamed wooden ceiling has a view of the ocean and the upscale quiet neighborhood. It's tastefully and comfortably furnished with all new furniture, queen sofa bed and a large screen plasma TV. The roomy kitchen has granite counter tops, all new appliances and beautiful Maple cabinets. The glass dining table will seat 4.

The bedroom has a queen bed, a large closet with mirrored doors to keep the room tidy and there is a full bath. Also a queen sofabed. Cable/wireless Internet and phone line insures that you can keep in touch with work if necessary and there is Cable TV and DVD. No searching for parking at the beach as this unit comes with private garage parking and automatic garage door opener in probably the best looking garage you've ever seen.

Several San Diego websites list Law Street Park as the “Best Beach Overlook.”

This two-block long patch of lush green grass, with several shaded benches, overlooks the sandy beach from the top of a 25 foot cliff. It is a favorite spot for observing the wide white-sand beach below and the endless numbers of surfers and sail-boarders displaying their skills at wave-ridding, just off-shore. The park is also a favorite for picnickers and sunset watchers and has restrooms and outdoor showers. A wide staircase assures easy access to the beach below.

North Pacific Beach around Law Street has a much more mellow, less crowded atmosphere than Pacific Beach and Mission Beach south of Crystal Pier/Garnet Street, yet Pacific Beach's myriad of ethnic and seafood restaurants, shops and clubs are only 6 blocks away and all the restaurants of La Jolla's Bird Rock area are less than a mile away.

  • As visitors from SA, did not know what to expect, despite the photo's, but we were impressed. Our daughter lives in Felspar which was quite close, so we could spent quality time. Enjoyed Kono's breakfasts! Appreciated the excellent laundry facilities, garage, courtyard and that the unit was fitted so well ito crockery, etc. Only complaint is that the sofa bed was uncomfortable for an adult to sleep in, but other than that, 5 out of 5! Will definitely stay there again with our next visit to PB.

  • My partner and I stayed in the upstair apartment for 4 days while visiting kids and grandkids. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and close to the beach. It was perfect for us, plenty of on-street parking as well as the garage, bbq on the deck, and view of the ocean. We will recommend to our friends, and are thinking about coming back at Christmas!

  • My husband and I spent a weekend at the upstairs condo with 2 of our grandsons and we all loved it. The location is terrific, just a few houses from the beach and park with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. It’s a nice, residential neighborhood and we felt safe and comfortable staying there with the kids. The apartment more than met our expectations. We had been in other vacation rentals in the area and been very disappointed. This place was clean and well maintained, everything in working order. We could tell the owners care about their property and the comfort of their guests. There is a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, barbecue grill on a private patio and even beach toys and bikes in the garage. We would definitely rent from Nancy’s Vacations again and would recommend it to family and friends.

  • I had the property rented for several days. It was very clean and well kept. Location is great; close to beach, 10 min walk to PB restaurants, and 10 min drive to La Jolla village and much more. Also, liked the gas grill and patio area for each unit. Only negative is the sofa bed which is quite uncomfortable as bed. As long as you don't need the extra sleeping space it its fine.

    I agree, sofa beds can be quite uncomfortable for adults, but they are perfect for kids. We purchase the best quality sofa beds we can. If anyone knows of a very comfortable sofa bed, please let us know so we can purchase them for our rentals : )

  • We stayed at 711 law street condo with our kids for 7 days and we had a really good time.It is minutes to the beach and is located in a very quite and safe neighborhood.The kitchen is very well equipped and the service from Jeremy was prompt.We would definitely rent from Nancy's vacation again and are looking forward to booking our next holiday.

  • We stayed at 711 Law st while attending a meeting in San Diego. The place was remarkable! Comfy bed, good kitchen, a laundry room and wifi! The location is suberb, just up from the beach and within walking distance of many eateries and bars. Just lovely. We will definitely stay here gain!

  • My wife and I stayed here with my 3 1/2 year old for 5 nights. The place was perfect. Location was quiet yet only 4 houses or so to the ocean. As someone who stays in hotels 15 days a month I can tell you that this is much better, cleaner, and convenient especially with a child. We will be back

  • We spent an extended Thanksgiving weekend at 711 Law with our two daughters and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This was our second stay at the property (we stayed downstairs at711 Law last year). The place still looks brand new and we have fallen in love with the location. A great home-away-from-home. A half-block to the park, beach and bike path makes a great beach getaway. Also, the fact that it is located at the north end of PB adjacent to a residential neighborhood makes for a more tranquil setting than your typical beach rental. Our only regret is that we we couldn't stay another couple of weeks.
