The property is unusual as it is a stones throw off the lake.This home is Situated right ON Lake Lure,only 10 feet from the water. It has incredible views of the lake and the rock faced mountains and glorious sunsets.My home was featured in NC boating and lifestyle magazine, May 2007 and not your typical rental. The house is my home and filled with antiques and collectibles and is as cozy and as comfortable as you can imagine. Enjoy the gorgeous views from the spacious dock or from the deck (22 x 30) above the boathouse. On this deck there is an eating table ,a hammock,and outdoor furniture for your entertaining.There is also a screened in. Porch outside the master bedroom and great room where you can also enjoy dining or just watching the sunset. The swimming is ideal as I am just inside the Cove and we all float and swim with no worries of boat traffic.There is comfort in this safety as well as the enjoyment of the westerly view of the sunsets that will overwhelm you and your family.
The house has central heat and air conditioning. There is a master bedroom on the first floor with a king size bed. Upstairs has three bedrooms, 1 queen size bed and one king size bed and bunk beds in the third bedroom. There is one full bath downstairs on the first floor (tub/shower), and a tub/shower upstairs as well.There is a small sunroom on first floor with dvd.I do live a wonderful cat those goes with me when I have guests,,just in case anyone has cat allergies..thanks
The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, refrigerator, disposal, coffee maker, microwave and toaster. In the living room there is a color TV with direct tv . There are also TVs in 2 other bedrooms - . On the deck outside there is a gas grill and plenty of seating areas. enjoy this fabulous setting, swimming and overall ambiance. I promise you will want to return often as many of my guests.The surroundings are so much fun to explore,,Asheville, Tryon, Flat Rock, Landrum,and of course Chimney Rock and the beach of Lake Lure.

Our thanks goes to the owner for making her home accessible to us for a holiday with our grand-daughters. We felt totally at home. Everything was as described via the photos and posting. The home exudes the love of her family and has a warm karma. Anyone renting this property would need to respect and care for the property as they would their own. Our grand-daughters enjoyed the safe access to the cove extension of the lake. The property is a short 10-15 minute ride to the local grocery and town. We are already making plans for next summer's visit. Loved our stay!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
