Within walking distance to town, this new family built home is located in the city limits of Helen, Georgia on 1 1/2 acres a couple of blocks behind the new Helen Water Park. Innsbruck Golf Resort is only three blocks away.
You'll love sitting on one of the two covered porches while listening to the sounds of the creek in the back yard. On most days you will see wild turkeys walking through the yard. If you would rather be indoors, enjoy the 32" LCD flat screen TV in the living room, or enjoy a round of cards at the poker table in the game room or sit in the spacious sunroom and enjoy the mountain view through the large picture windows.
The home features two large bedrooms upstairs with queen size beds and a private full bath in each. The master bedroom has a sitting area and a desk. Both bedrooms have a 26" LCD flat screen TV. A Playstation 2 Game Console is in the Guest Bedroom.
The main level of the home has bamboo hardwood flooring and ceramic tile. The beautiful full kitchen has Corian counter tops and a breakfast island where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee and breakfast, or you can enjoy your meals in the dining area. There's also a large full bath with a double vanity on the main level and a separate laundry room.
If you want the feeling of seclusion with much peace and quiet, but want to be close to all of Helen's activities, then this is the place for you. Stay at our cottage and you'll be glad you did. We hope that you will come again and again!

Why the Owner Chose Helen
We chose to build our cabin in Helen, Georgia, because we really like the touch of Bavaria in this re-created alpine village with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers which is full of activities throughout the year.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
We love sitting on the deck as we listen to the sounds of the creek in the back yard. The cabin is located in the city limits and is within walking distance to town, yet you have the feeling of total seclusion.
Helen's newest attraction located only a few blocks from the cabin. Open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
This championship 18-hole par 72 golf course is rated by Golf Digest's Best Places to Play 2008/2009. It is located only a couple of blocks from the cabin.
Go tubing down the Chattahoochee for a few hours of fun! Located only two minutes from our cabin.

One of our favorite places to eat! It's hard to believe that you're in a tourist town with such low prices.

My husband and I both grew up in Georgia and have visited Helen many times together for relaxation and enjoyment. We found ourselves going back at least twice a year. We liked it so much that we decided to purchase a piece of property and build a vacation home. We later decided that we wanted to give others an opportunity to enjoy it too.
