Top floor loft-like "Crows Nest" master suite with skylight shower and full bath, second floor great room with living/dining area, fully equipped high end chef’s kitchen, guest half bath, fireplace, cable TV, DVD, surround sound stereo and wireless internet access. Downstairs bedroom with two twin beds and full bath. High quality sheets and towel sets included for all bathrooms and bedrooms.
Sleeps four to five - ideal for family with two to three kids or two couples.
Very private, yet steps to the beach and easy walking access to Marine Avenue’s shops and restaurants. Easy on/off island - parking is not a problem here - private automatic 2 car garage for hassle free parking. Separate Washer/Dryer closet.
Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP), Kayak, dinghy, beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella included, just take 25 steps down to the neighborhood beach and set up for the day. Or jump on the beach cruisers and ride to Newport's best beaches - grab one of the beginner friendly surfboards or bodyboards and get some waves!

This home was really nice for us. Our two kids stayed in the downstairs bedroom and we stayed up in the loft. Remember it is a loft and the master is not private in that regard, but for us that was perfect. It is one house away from the water and you can see the water from several angles. We originally wanted a house right on the walkway surrounding the island but could not find one we liked AND for the price we liked.....so we thought we would "settle" on this place. After staying here for one week we are glad this is where we settled. After walking the walkway every day (and looking in the homes like everyone else) I think we would of not liked the lack of privacy in the waterfront homes. This home ended up being perfect for us, with just the right amount of privacy. We would like to return to Balboa one day soon and would stay here again! This is such a great beach house; well appointed, A+ location, super close to the bridge so you don't have to deal with island traffic. Our 3 boys love the close proximity to the beach, and my wife and I love the close proximity to restaurants and the main street of town. Great family home- highly recommend it to anyone traveling with or without kids!!! M&CRecommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I travel from new york each year to beautiful balboa island. We love the house, it's simplicity and architectural charm make it a perfect place to relax and Enjoy the beach and all of the surrounding activities. It is close to all the areas wonderful restaurants and fun. The kitchen is first class, beds are comfortable. There is a view from every window and balcony. We walk the entire island almost every morning. This is the best way to experience the island, People, dogs and coffee.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
