We had a great visit and this apartment definetly added to the experience - clean, tidy, plenty room or at least more than I was expecting, and perfect location for us - Hayes Valley is a very sweet neighborhood with a village feel, couple of nice restaurants, bars and a great bakery!! Walking distance to plenty other destination spots in town ... after walking thru the busier spots where I had considered a hotel room where it was busy and loud I was so thankful I had found this sweet. quiet, peaceful refuge for our stay! Very good value for money!!

My husband and I were delighted with this accommodation. Easy walking distance to the opera, comfortable, clean and quiet. Tom was prompt at answering any of our inquiries, and recommending restaurants. In fact that was the only problem, deciding where to eat! We have no hesitation in recommending this place to other San Francisco visitors, and look forward to a return visit.

This is a charming unit set back from the street in a garden setting, so nice and quiet. The owner keeps it super clean and stocked with helpful items (such as toothpaste- thank goodness as we forgot ours!) and information on SF, which is nice for tourists. It is very comfortable and roomy and the location can't be beat. We love Hayes Valley, only a block away. We would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I just returned from a 10 day stay at Tom and Regan's apartment. We were immediately impressed upon entering the side gate with the beautiful path and garden, and the smell of the honeysuckle. The apartment was large and bright. The kitchen, bathroom, bed room and living room were large and bright. The bathroom was nicely stocked with various toiletries and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly want. The futon in the living room was very comfortable for sleeping, as well as the full sized bedroom. We couldn't get over all the closet and shelf space for all of our things. We were able to unpack everything and experience living in our own apt. for 10 days. We especially appreciated the keyless entry and exit from the house. This was so easy especially when we'd come back at night. Lastly, the location of the apartment was the best, near to all the Market transportation; streetcar, bart and muni bus lines, as well as Haight St. bus routes which brought us only a quick 2 block walk to/from the apartment to downtown, Golden Gate Park etc. We felt safe staying here and walking around this lovely Hayes Valley neighborhood. This location really cut down on the amount of walking that we had to do every day. We did enjoy walking over to Hayes St. for great cafes and stores, as well as being able to walk over to the Mission district to visit friends and family who live there. My friend and I both look forward to coming back to SF and Tom and Regan's lovely apartment, next time we may even bring our husbands!! Etta Meyer Parsons Meryl Cooper New Jersey

Wonderful Apartment!

We stayed three nights at this apartment and enjoyed our stay very much. The rental process went very smooth - the owner, Tom, was helpful in answering questions that we had and making sure our stay was comfortable. The apartment is darling - lots of nice decorative touches, very comfy bed, with a roomy kitchen and living area to entertain family members. There is also a lot of beautiful flowers/plants that can be seen through the windows of the apartment since it sits down a bit from the inside walkway. We thought parking might be a problem but we never had an issue with this - we were ALWAYS able to find a parking space near the entrance or up the street. The apartment is on a busy street but sits back through a gate and walkway so it was very quiet. We look forward to staying at this apartment again!

Early-30's, former SF residents here. We recently spent a long weekend at the Hayes Valley garden apartment and would recommend it as a good value and excellent home-base to explore the City. The combo of central location and very little street noise achieved here is no easy feat. Tom has equipped the unit with comfortable furniture, a full kitchen, and important "accessories" like an iron, hair dryer, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this place and the process was perfect! Tom answered all my questions, was very accommodating, and returned our security deposit quickly. The suite was centrally located, near transit, and had everything we needed and more! Can't wait to go back!

We are so pleased we chose to stay at your flat in SF. We felt right at home. We love the neighborhood & even went to the SF Zen Center, around the corner, & heard a talk. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable which meant a lot to me as I have a bad back. We will definitely recommend your place to others & look forward to staying there in the future.
