Start and end your day with a tranquil beach stroll: the emerald waters and sugar white sands of Carillon Beach (one of the TOP 10 beaches in the world) are just a short 3 minute walk from your front door (no need to battle the Seaside traffic or cross 30A to get to the beach). Best of all, “Far Far Away” overlooks the largest of 3 pools in Carillon and is adjacent to the recreation park.
You’ll experience total relaxation and privacy in the casual elegance of your vacation retreat. The living room entertainment center holds a 42” LCD HDTV, DVD and CD player to complete the surround-sound theater system. When you’re not watching movies or playing games, you can enjoy the sounds of your favorite music on this multi-room sound system.
The living and dining area is the perfect gathering spot to entertain your family and guests. Two of the three 2nd level bedrooms are master suites, each tucked away with a private porch. The CARILLON SUITE, decorated in royal colors, is appointed with luxury queen-sized bedding, reading nook, oversized walk-in shower and a private porch to enjoy that first mug of morning coffee. The bright ROSEMARY SUITE features a wrought iron bed with queen-size bedding, sitting area, double-vanity travertine bathroom with shower for two, and a panoramic promenade view from your private porch resting in Adirondack chairs. Last, but not least, your kids will love the PIRATE's COVE SUITE featuring bunk beds, a treasure load of surprises and a full bathroom with shower and tub. The second level also has a bunk-bed sleeping alcove, where you'll feel like you're sleeping on a cloud.
Sip your favorite drink on the third level game room (with Foosball table) knowing sunrises and sunsets only look this way at the beach. “Far Far Away” is brimming with special touches throughout; granite counter tops from South Africa, Italian travertine bathroom floors, European satin-nickel fixtures, oak hardwood floors throughout, and private porches off the bedrooms and main living area.
Carillon, located just beyond the east end of 30-A, is a gated community of single-family homes located within steps to Carillon Beach, Downtown Carillon, Lake Powell and bicycle paths that will take you along the adorable beach communities of Rosemary, Seaside, and Seagrove, and several state parks. There are plenty of amenities at Carillon; including three pools (one heated, one gulf front), beach club, two tennis courts, kiddie pool, basketball court, play ground, bicycle rental and, of course, plenty of beach front to enjoy. This is our second time at Far Far Away and once again, we loved it! We ventured out of Carillon this time and saw dolphins and lots more at the pier oppoiste Pier Park, enjoyed the excitement of the "Everglades Style" boat ride at Gator Country, and had a wonderful time on board the 3-hour cruise with "Island Time" where we swam, collected marine creatures, and enjoyed being on the water. We also celebrated a special birthday at "Georges of Alys Beach", only a few minutes drive and thoroughly worth the visit! Most of all though, we relaxed at the beautiful white sandy beach of Carillon and of course the pools too! Thanks Jack and Jane for the use of your beautiful house!

What a wonderful house! We had an AWESOME time! Everything has been great but now we are sad that we have to leave. We have rented five houses in Carillon and by far this has the most space for five little children. Thanks for renting your house to us... we will be back!

-What a great week. Love the home, cant wait to come back. -A beautiful, peaceful place. The location is exceptional. So tastefully decorated. Love having meals on the porch- no insects to speak of. There were 9 of us including a 2 month old infant- had plenty of room. -Such a great week! So many memories were made here this week! Suggest the beach pool to all future guests, best of both worlds. Hope to return soon! -This was exactly what I needed! A little family time mixed with some best friend time! What a great vacation! You ahve a beautiful home with all the comforts anyone needs. The location to the pool and beach is great. Whoever decorated did a fantastic job. We found everything nice and clean, with more than enough utensils, plates, etc. You really made this house into a "home". This is our first time to Carillon Beach and we will be back for sure. What a beautiful house! This is our 1st visit to Carillon, and we had a wonderful time. Staying in a house is so much more preferable than a condominium... plenty of room for everyone. The teens and the 4 year old really enjoyed the "upstairs upstairs" and the foosball table =) Your home is well appointed and beautifully decorated, and its location across from the pool is perfect, especially for young children. The weather this week has been perfect, and the beach has been pristine-- no oil to be found. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.. we'd love to come back!

Twice a year we since 2004 visit the FL panhandle and enjoy the wonderful beaches from Pensacola to Destin. This is the first house that we can stay we truly enjoyed and felt right at home. Quiet resort with all the conveniences within walking distance. We will make every effort to only rent this house going forward.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.
