Villa Perezoso, inspired by modern Balinese design, is a newly built, privately owned, 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom, four story estate (with over 6000 sq feet of living space) nestled amidst the unparalleled natural beauty of Manuel Antonio Antonio Park, along Costa Rica's Pacific coast. Built into a tropical hillside, off a private road, the Villa captures the stunning postcard views of Manuel Antonio National Park and the beautiful bay of Manuel Antonio. And it's just minutes from many of the beautiful beaches.
The Villa, designed such that awe inspiring ocean and jungle views can be seen from each room, features both open air living rooms and floor to ceiling windows from one end of the house to the other, all opening out to large terraces, living spaces and suites, letting in natural light, gentle breezes and creating a sense of integration and harmony with the jungle.
Upon your arrival, our outstanding staff is there to welcome you at the entrance of the Villa's grand Balinese inspired wooden carved doors. Inside, the stunning waterfall entry, captivates guests as they are lead to the inside entrance of their home away from home while enjoying their tropical welcome drink. From that moment on, you will be pampered by our staff for your entire stay and experience one of the best vacations of your life.
THE VILLA FLOOR PLAN--3400 sq feet
Lower level: 3 master suites with bathrooms
Includes the fabulous Grand Master Suite (KING canopy bed), with full balinese inspired bath, double sinks, private deck, small living area, Yoga/massage/exercise space, writing desk. With floor to ceiling glass doors running the length of the room, one can look out to the expansive jungle and ocean views whether relaxing in bed, sitting out on the deck or taking a shower. The 2 other Master Suites are duplicates of each other, one with a KING/canopy bed and the other with 2 Double Beds. Both have large full balinese inspired bathrooms with views, private decks and glass doors running the length of the room providing for great viewing of the wildlife, ocean and jungle.
Each master suite is outfitted with luxurious linens, towels and bedding, flat screen TV's w/ cable & DVD player, IPOD docking station, spa robes, complimentary bath amenities, closets with safes, A/C and ceiling fans and VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS.
2nd level:
Capturing the essence of Balinese living, this level features a large living room, dining room, gourmet kitchen, a large full bathroom and an entertainment room complete with a 42" plasma TV/DVD player, 3 sofas, and a stereo/IPOD docking station. There is plenty of lounging and seating space both outdoors and indoors with teak lounge chairs, benches and seating tables poolside. The large wooden indoor dining table seats 12; guests can dine at beautifully set tables or enjoy a casual buffet all prepared and served by our CHEF. Whether lounging in the spacious living room, dining room, entertainment room or terrace, you will be captivated by the beautiful ocean views and wildlife that come to visit.
3rd and 4th level--THE Penthouse--2600sq feet
Upon entering the 3rd level into THE Penthouse's open air living room, one can't help but notice the endless ocean views stretching from one horizon and the outlying jungle at the other end. On either side of the living room are the 2 Master Suites (one King and one Queen) each with large Balinese inspired bathrooms. The showers were designed to create the illusion of showering outdoors as both bathrooms have floor to ceiling glass doors that open out to the ocean and jungle. This floor also has a 2nd smaller Gourmet Kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a dining area perfect for four. A circular staircase leads up to a spectacular large Loft with 360 degree windows and views, where one can relax indoors on the Balinese day bed or sun on the spacious private sun terrace--the perfect place to soak up a gorgeous sunset, stare at the stars, enjoy a massage or relax in the jacuzzi spa.
Each master suite is outfitted with luxurious linens, towels and bedding, flat screen TV's w/ cable & DVD player, IPOD docking station, spa robes, complimentary bath amenities, closets with safes, A/C and ceiling fans.

Why the Owner Chose Manuel Antonio
To us, Manuel Antonio is as close to paradise as it gets. Our dream was to someday live in a tropical haven, near the beach and somewhere not too far from "home" (California). Having traveled nearly all the continents and vacationed on many of the worlds' best islands and tropical destinations, upon arriving in Manuel Antonio in November of 2003, we knew we had to live there someday. Not only was the place magical, the views heavenly, the beaches some of the best we've ever encountered but the friendliness of the people of Costa Rica, the emphasis on preserving their beautiful country, we knew when we arrived that we were hooked and that we wanted to make Costa Rica our next home. We found a gorgeous property with some of the best views we have encountered, bought it and started building. With Bali being another favorite destination of ours, we wanted to bring what we loved about Bali to Costa Rica--from the feeling of living outdoors to using natural materials and woods and stones to the top notch service they provide their guests. Our architect did a beautiful job taking our vision and in creating Villa Perezoso (named for the resident sloth), with every room having distinctive ocean and jungle views. We travelled to Bali to have all the furniture and accessories custom built for the property and had it transported to Costa Rica. It was a labor of love building it from the ground up and we love the finished product as do our guests.
The Unique Benefits at this Villas
What we love most about the property is its uniqueness. From the views, to the monkeys, sloths and birds who frequent the property, to the wonderful staff, to the extra touches we provide for our guests. We built the property as an investment property specifically designed for the comfort of accomodating guests. From the high thread count linens and plush towels and down comforters, to the flowers in every room, all the amenities one could need being available, is what our guests say have them wanting to return again and again. The BEST thing however, is the staff. Unlike any other villa, the property was built with a separate live in quarters for the house manager who has been with us for years (we hired him at the beginning of the construction)and he is available 24/7 to meet any and all of your needs. His warm smile, contagious charm , his desire to please and his knowledge about the area and services, along with the chef is what our guests say makes the stay perfect. And as far as our brilliant chef ...he too has a wonderful personality and a great talent in the kitchen and he is part of our staff (all the other villas offer this at an extra cost). What our guests love about him (you can read more on our testimonials page on our website) is that the shopping, cooking and clean up is all taken care of by him! A true vacation experience (and his top notch, delicious food is better than most of the restaurants)! We also love that nature beckons right outside, I personally love the monkey visits and am always excited on seeing a "perezoso" in the nearby guarumo tree. If I could pick out two of my favorite things about Villa Perezoso is 1) the staff and how they spoil us and our guests and 2) the openness of each of the rooms (especially the bathrooms with floor to ceiling glass doors that open up allowing you to shower looking out to the vast jungle and pacific ocean. Its a slice of paradise found.
