Why the Owner Chose Whalehead Beach
We LOVE the Whalehead area. The grocery store, shops, restaurants, movie theatre, day spa, go carts, putt putt, jet skiis, ice cream shops and lots of other activities are just a couple blocks away. Our kids love biking there whenever they want. The close proximity gives them a lot of independence.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The privacy of all the bedroom suites allows everyone to have their own bathroom and TV in their bedroom. It's great for some quiet R & R after a day on the beach with all the kids!

This house has it all! Big rooms, lots of bathrooms and a great pool/ hot tub area! I don't know who enjoyed it more, the adults or the kids! Great price, great location, beautiful sunsets from the upper deck, you won't be disappointed!
Recommended for:Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I searched many sites looking for a home for our daughter’s wedding prior to finding Drift Inn. I am still amazed that we found a home that suited our needs perfectly (sight unseen!). The layout of the home, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the back yard, the driveway/parking area, access to the beach access (mere steps away), were all perfect. The owner’s promptness to my questions and concerns was superior. I wouldn’t consider staying in any other home if I get the opportunity to vacation in Corolla again.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had the best time at your beautiful home… the beach was like a private beach! Everything was so well prepared for us. You have truly thought of everything! We arrived to your lovely home that was spotlessly clean and were treated to the already made beds and cozy towels!(that was a great perk for me!) The weather was great and we walked the beach, shopped (soooo convenient) and enjoyed lovely sunsets and sunrises each day! My children found so many beautiful shells and even sand dollars!My in-laws had truly a fabulous time and now want to do this every year! Thank you again for allowing us to enjoy your home ~ we look forward to staying again!

This house is absolutely wonderful. There were 7 adults who stayed and we each had our own sleeping space as well as a private bathroom. The walk to the boardwalk was ideally close. All of the amenities were wonderful and we especially enjoyed playing shuffleboard. We would not hesitate to return again for another vacation. It was very quiet and relaxing.

We have rented the Drift Inn for MANY years as one of three we rent annually for our family reunion. We love the house - especially the roomy kitchen/living area. We gather here for breakfast each morning. The little ones love the porch swing! We've always had good luck with this house. This year we were afraid that the realty being on the other side of the bridge would be inconvenient, but the drop box across the street made it easy for me to return the keys at the end of the week as I headed home.

We spent a week with at least 12 people at any given time. The bed/bedroom situation was just right. There are great extras - multiple refrigerators, bikes, chairs, pool, hot tub, etc., etc. Everyone was happy and entertained and we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. There are views of the ocean from the deck and the walkway to the beach is very close. So close, in fact, that if we forgot something it was no big deal to go to the house. Oh, and we had 7 cars and they all fit easily in the driveway. We'd love to return next year.

Drift Inn is a very pleasant home. I loved the four master bedrooms with big beds - no need to share bathrooms. It's hard to find a home in a decent price range, this close to the beach, with that many masters (not twins or bunks). If you need twins or bunks those are also available in two bedrooms on the mid level. Our family really enjoyed our stay. This home offers the ability to be together as a large group or get away to your own private area when you need a break. The beach access is so close that you can see it from the house. If you're looking for an ocean front home, but don't like ocean front pricing, this is definitely the next best thing.
