The 80 foot dock is perfect for sunning, picnicking, or watching the kids swim at the sand bar. In the evening the reflected sunsets, stars, and sometimes fireworks or northern lights can be enjoyed from either the shore next to the fire or out on the dock. Owner's Profile

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 1964

We are a retired school teacher and semi retired auto executive and consultant. We have three adult children that were raised in this house, and 8 grand children. Our primary recreation is boating on this chain of lakes and the great lakes.

Why the Owner Chose Williamsburg

We had family history in the area (my grand father settled on the next lake on the chain when he came to America in 1860) and it is a beautiful area to live and play in.

The Unique Benefits of this House

You have the opportunity to share a former resort with the owner couple. You have privacy and many recreation activities available on the property, as well as many shopping and sightseeing opportunities in the near area. There is an indian casino five miles away, a nice tourist city (Traverse City) 14 miles away, several ski areas within a 60 mile radius, local festivals, a nationally acclaimed horse show, and the lakes and trees of northern Michigan.
