Relax in a quiet, safe, and secluded atmosphere with your family and friends. We are within a gated property which is gated 24/7. Lay on hammocks on our beautiful palm hut overlooking the pool. Enjoy our fine barbecue grill. …Bar and restaurant next door. Maid service provided to clean the house and change bed linens. Caretaker maintains house, pool, and gardens. Our home is private and out-of-the-way yet in a perfect location having many of the best beaches in Guanacaste nearby. 10 minute walk (little more than half a mile) to Playa Conchal. With white sand and crystal clear waters, Conchal is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking beaches in Costa Rica. With one and a half mile extension, Conchal is unspoiled by construction development. Birds, monkeys, iguanas, pizotes (antoons), armadillos and many other exotic animals inhabit the forests that surround Playa Conchal; it truly is paradise! Relax at Playa Conchal and at several nearby exotic beaches and enjoy activities such as horseback riding, hiking, fishing, surfing, mountain biking, diving, and snorkeling. Besides Playa Conchal, there are 2 very close beaches, with great scenery, which are Playa Minas and Playa Real. Playa Real has some great sunsets! Other beaches in the vicinity are: Playa Grande where you can enjoy great consistent surf, and observe huge Baula Turtles come and nest on the beach from October to April. It’s only 15 minutes away! Playa Tamarindo has many restaurants and shopping centers, 25 minutes away. Playa Potrero and Playa Flamingo are 30 minutes away; and Playa Avellanas and Playa Negra are about 45 minutes away and have great surf. One third of Costa Rica’s National Parks and wildlife reserves are located in the province of Guanacaste. Enjoy them while you stay! There are 7 national parks within a 15 minute and 3 hour drive. They are: Barra Honda National Park Arenal National Park (active volcano) Guanacaste National Park Las Baulas de Guanacaste National Park (nesting Baula turtles) Lomas Barbudal Bilogical Reserve Palo Verde National Park Rincón de la Vieja National Park Santa Rosa National Park The house is part of Ant-Run Tours' program route due to it's great location in the provice of Guanacaste.
