My husband, 13-year-old daughter, and I just got back from a week's stay in Paris. Wish we could have stayed longer. Have rented apartments and stayed in hotels many times in Paris, but for the money, this apartment was the best value. The apartment is very close to several Metro stops and within walking distance to many sights, banks, and shopping. The beds -- the main one and the pullout in the living area -- were very comfortable (though the pullout was difficult to open); the kitchen small but well equipped; and the two sinks in the bathroom came in very handy -- and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Overall, a very clever use of space -- and very comfortable and open and light. The only drawbacks, the apartment is smaller than it looks in the pictures, and may feel a bit cramped if there are more than two of you; and the shower needs to be re-caulked/grouted (there was mold or rust all over one wall, which was a bit off-putting) and a proper/full shower door installed to keep water from flying all over the place. (The shower is not fully enclosed, and water tends to goes everywhere.) But that said, I highly recommend this apartment -- and the owner and flat manager -- and would absolutely stay there again!

I rented for the month of March and could have stayed another month!! The apartment has every convenience including a washer/dryer , an up to date bathroom with TWO sinks and a shower that really works and the bed and sofa bed were excellent. Every detail was handle by Pierre to perfection and dealing with the rental details with Dominque was a breeze compared to several others I have dealt with on previous stays. Daily shopping around the corner, the fresh market just a few minutes walk, the magnificent Ste Sulplice nearby, exceptional restaurants, the covered Marche, and the wonderfilled Pink Boxes nearby! Paradise!! My family came and went and the 21 years old found night life abounded nearby. The noise from the street can get a bit much late at night but the price was worth it for all the lovely windows. Rest assured, I will rent again and I will recommend to all who will listen...Merci Beaucoup!! .Beth-Ane Dorst and extended family

I based booking our stay here on the excellent 5 star reviews and I would agree with the comments regarding location and facilities. It was fantastic to step out onto the street and be so close to everything and even though the Metro entrance was only 80 metres away, we walked alot: to the Louvre, Orsay, even Opera or else caught the bus which were also very nearby to go in any direction. Pierre made us most welcome and ensured we had everything working. The only negatives for our family were cigarette smoke and traffic noise (we are not inner city dwellers!) As we are not smokers Paris is "hard going" when outside, however there was a very strong cigarette smoke odour emanating from the vent in the bathroom which I assume has a common connection with other apartments in the building? Although Rue Bonaparte is not a very busy street, we found the street noise carried into the apartment so we had to use earplugs at night to mask the noise from the racing mopeds, sirens and "doof doof" car stereos, we did however snooze blissfully until around 10AM each morning!
Owner response:Dear Cameron, Thank you for you nice review; I just wanted to inform anyone who may be worried about the cigarette thing: that is the first time in 3 years we had that type of inconvenience/// Best Dominique

We spent a delightful month at this centrally-located, very comfortable apartment between St Germain and St Sulpice in the 6th arrondissement. There are excellent nearby bus and Métro options for ease of travel throughout Paris as well as several taxi stands. The apartment was spotless and had all the conveniences we desired. The web site descriptions and photos accurately reflect the accommodations, and the owner, Christine, and Paris manager, Pierre, were responsive to our questions and our needs both before and during our stay.

We have just returned from 10 glorious days in Paris. The apt was just as shown in the pictures. Very clean and well maintained, with a very comfortable bed, nice sized bathroom, and tastefully decorated. The location was absolutely perfect. Convenient to all the sights. Walking distance to most and if not the taxi stand was just around the corner on Saint Germain Blvd. Taxis are not overpiced compared to NY The St Germain area is a very safe and lively area with great bistrots, cafes, jazz clubs and shopping. When we return to Paris we would not hesitate to stay in this apt. Christine the property owner was terrific about promptly responding to any questions. We are thrilled we made the right choice for vacation in choosing Paris, this location and this apt. It will be one of our most memorable trips.

Convenient. Comfortable. Beautifully appointed. All this and more! This apartment was a perfect home for a month of "living" in Paris. From the first contact with owner, Christine, to the friendly welcome and ongoing care by manager, Pierre, the experience of renting at rue Bonapart was fabulous. We will be back.

This newly renovated apartment was a pleasure to wake up in and return to each day. There was work being done on the facade of the building with staging set up right outside the windows of the apartment but being a holiday week we never saw any workers or heard any noise when we were there. You will find the Monoprix for groceries/wine etc. is conveniently located right around the corner. The metro was steps away. Having a laptop with reliable internet meant we didn't have to bring our own. We look forward to returning here again one day!
Owner response:The work being done on the face of the building is now finished... You have now 5 windows on the Rue Bonaparte ! GOOD STAY in the St-Germain deluxe apartment.
