Top floor, sunny 2-level unit with vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan for easy entertaining. Located on the Eagle River; in the summer you can open windows or deck doors and listen to the river all night and sleep under wool blankets and Down comforters.
The nearest Beaver Creek Ski Lift is only 5 minutes away and the parking lot is just 100 yards from the lift. The condo is on the shuttle route to Vail and Beaver Creek. For Apres ski, you can warm up in front of the condo's wood burning fireplace. Edwards Riverwalk is just a half-mile walk on the bike path, where you'll find restaurants, coffee shops, brewery, clothing boutiques, grocery store, liquor store, bakery, banks, bookstore, movie theatres, art galleries, and antique shops. Enjoy the outdoors: you are close to world class rafting, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and golfing, with fly fishing just downhill from the deck.
The condo was my primary residence for 10 years before moving to Denver in 2007. In that time, I've opened up a loft for a library, refinished or painted all walls, and installed bamboo flooring and wool berber carpet. Since half of my work is in the Vail Valley, I use my home-away-from-home almost half of each month, so the linens, dishes, furniture, appliances and cooking tools are good quality. As an Archtiect, I'll continue to update my condo so when you stay here, consider yourself a patron to the arts for the current artistic phase. This off-season I plan to refinish the bamboo floor and bathrooms. And if you live in a resort area too, consider trading your place for mine. Thank you for visiting and have a safe vacation.

Why the Owner Chose Edwards
I had selected my Edwards condo because the condo neighborhood located between the Eagle River and a Park was quiet and safe for my dog; I had rented a smaller condo on the Property for 3 years and waited until a large 3-bedroom was available - also because it's close to skiing at Beaver Creek & Vail & biking/hiking in the mountains, and it's within walking distance to the heart of Edwards, and less than 2 hours to Denver.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Colorado has more days of sun than any other state, and the condo is on the western slope of the Rockies and central to skiing, hiking, biking, and fly fishing; the condo has incredible views from the mountain valley next to the Eagle River. Since my condo was my first home, it is well-loved and very comfortable. And since I use the condo each month for work and play, it has all the necessities of home. Also, I invest all the rent back into the condo through renovations and upgrading. Come back often and see the next artistic phase.

I'm a solo architect working in Edwards and Denver, Colorado. After living and working in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Baltimore, New Haven, Martha's Vineyard and Seattle, I moved to Vail Valley, Colorado where I set up my Studio. A year after moving to Colorado, my dad retired from teaching and we designed and built a home for him in Grand Junction, Colorado.
