Our sun filled 2-story home is comfortably furnished, with antiques, art and charm, and loads of amenities. Located on Basque Drive, one of the most beautiful streets in Northstar, which backs up to the valley and Golf Course. 1 minute drive children's Minor's Camp and day care; 5 minute drive to the Village/slopes/rec room.
Downstairs: fully equipped kitchen w/separate breakfast room, half bathroom, and "great room" with awesome views, dining area and living room, huge picture windows and a river rock wood burning fireplace. (Tea, spices, condiments are FREE!)
Upstairs: 3 bright and generously sized bedrooms. Master suite has queen bed and Ralph Lauren/Company Store 100% cotton linens. Lounge in bed and enjoy the expansive view. 2nd guest room has queen size bed, and view. Third bedroom has two single beds with plenty of room for air mattress. The guest bathroom has a double sink, and separate "room" w/ toilet. Lots of privacy and room to get ready to hit the slopes.
Shuttle bus to slopes and rec center stops right in front (you can call and ask for a special pick up). Walk to the world famous golf course. Or, just step outside the back deck to hike or cross country ski on Martis Valley nature preserve.
For a change of pace, pick up the binoculars and grab a chair on the back deck. With Martis Valley as your own private back yard, there are lots of birds and other creatures to spot.
PLUS: You'll have all the owner's benefits at Northstar Rec Center, 10 tennis courts, two swimming pools, huge Jacuzzis, rec room, etc. etc.
Ready for an excursion? It's a quick 15 minute drive to Truckee for shopping and dining, or 15 minutes to Lake Tahoe. In the house you will find a binder of all the interesting shops, restaurants, hiking trails, and interesting activities to do.
