Enjoy all that Acadia National Park has to offer!! September and October are two of the best months in Acadia. No crowds...just beautiful fall weather and gorgeous scenery.We are a short distance to all the natural beauty that is Acadia, and there is no time like the fall for hiking. We are located on what in known on the island of Mount Desert as the "Quiet Side". We are away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. Kayaking to the famous Bass Harbor Lighthouse is right off our shore. Relax on our patio and enjoy the garden.
The quaint village of Southwest Harbor is nearby. Take the nearby ferries to all the surrounding islands. Some of Acadia's easiest and most beautiful hikes are a short distance away.
We have a fully stocked kitchen for those who like to cook. Our cottage is heated to take the chill off a cool autumn evening.
