Surrounded by spectacular scenery, privacy and quiet, the Treehouse is the ideal place to stage all of your adventures to explore the riches of Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. The house is perched up high with limited views of Western Way and Cranberry Island from the deck. Enjoy and relax to the endless chatter of birds and the distant sounds of boats traveling by. Stroll down the path to the oceans edge and miles of shoreline to explore. Perfect place for two to rekindle and relax. Major updates for 2024 include updated furniture, a new deck and freshened kitchen.** The only entrance is via exterior spiral staircase as pictured in photos. **

The Tree House was clean, comfortable and very quiet and peaceful. It was convemiently locate to Acadia National Park with the light house and several hiking trails within a few miles. The main part of the park, including the visitor's center, is within an easy drive.As a bonus if you are lucky enough to be around several hours after sunset on a clear night without a bright moon in the sky, the view of the stars from the deck is something not to missed.

The host communicated very well and was full of helpful suggestions about things to do in the area. The Treehouse is located in a wonderful location, near Acadia and other attractions. It is a short walk down the road to open water where the sunrises were gorgeous. We were able to see a multitude of stars in the night sky.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at the treehouse. The property was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a home base for hiking in Acadia. The proximity to the park was perfect - close enough for convenience, but away from the crowds. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the deck, watching the deer and walking to the nearby waterfront. The guidebook Anne provided was great - we planned several activities based on her recommendations! I'd definitely book here again.

The location was nice and quiet. Sitting on the deck at night was so nice. The place had everything we needed for a long weekend. Communication was great. While there is beach access through a couple other properties, there are no water views really. You can see it through some trees, but thought some of the photos were a bit misleading. We planned to explore Acadia and other water front areas so it wasn't a huge deal; but just a little disappointing.

For a cozy, quiet place in a beautiful setting, this is a great get-away. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen has every supply needed. We could rest up easily here and had a wonderful series of hiking days in Acadia, and nearby found excellent local fare at Beal’s Lobster Pier and Charlotte’s Legendary Lobster Pound. Thank you to our excellent host!

Beautiful, quiet location. Roomier than photos appeared. It is a climb up, as was clear in description. Nicely furnished. Very good internet connection, although Roku TV tended to drop off. Lots of birds and deer! Would stay here again.

Cute place. Very quiet. Can be easy to bonk your head on the slanted ceilings and the water tasted metallic but it’s easy to buy bottled water and watch your head. Great lobster roll right down the street. Convenient beach. Nice town. Close to Acadia
