  We rented for 3 nights in August and the owner was responsive, friendly and personable through e-mail when we were researching. His rental company was efficient and helpful. The property is small, but big enough for a couple and 2 kids or 4 adults that don't mind sharing space. Some of the furniture was somewhat worn and dated, but it was clean and the bed was relatively comfortable and in good repair. The kitchen was perfectly serviceable and had everything that we needed (including a blender and toaster). I liked that this was an end unit and was easy to get to from the parking area and the street. There is a beach entrance right behind it through the parking lot and the pier is just a few steps further. Great food and drinks are just a few doors down the street, and there is a grocery close by as well. For the price, I was very pleased with the accommodations and the service that we received. I would happily stay here again.

  This appt. style condo was just what we needed to enjoy the beach and explore Charleston! It was clean, nicely decorated with a well stocked kitchen. I liked the first floor accommodations and the free parking. The private entrances to the beach, pool and pier were nice so it was not super crowded when entering. The beach was public however, and a public access to the beach ran parallel to the property with paid public parking on the street. We enjoyed close access to bar/restaurants and shops. One rooftop bar had free live entertainment daily/nightly. There were a couple of ice cream places and pizza restaurant as well, all just about 5 places down the street that were easy to walk to. The only reason I did not rate this property 5 stars was due to the fact that even though it can sleep 5-6 it is more suited for 2-3 adults. The sleeper sofa is barely sleep-able for an adult due to lack of support. We were an adult couple with a 21 year old daughter. The small bunk-like beds would be acceptable for smaller children under the age of 10. I would rent this property again if traveling with just my husband. We loved Charleston!

  The condo was comfortable for my wife and I and was well maintained. We did not need the bunks in the condo. We enjoyed the stores and restaurants on Ocean Blvd behind the condo. We especially enjoyed Luke n' Ollie's pizza! Tom was a great resource for information.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

  I want to take the time to thank you for letting me and my 2 best friends stay at your condo, it was such a wonderful experience!! We loved how close it was to all the restaurants ( we actually never got back in our car until we were packing up to leave) we walked the whole time and it was awesome! The view form the balcony is perfect and the condo had all the items we needed ( especially when we saw how stocked the kitchen is with all the pots/ pans, etc..) It was a 10 on the scale for sure!! Thanks again and you ( TOM) were such a gentleman to deal with. I can't say enough nice things for sure :)

  Tom's unit was perfect for a little vacation with my college-aged daughter. (though we could have fit a family of 4, no problem). Location was ideal, with an ocean view from the balcony, and just a short walk to the stairs to the beach. The unit had everything we needed. We didn't end up cooking, but easily could have as the kitchen had everything needed. My daughter was perfectly comfortable sleeping on one of the bunk beds. I loved sitting on the balcony and drinking coffee, then going for a nice, long run on the beach. The Isle of Palms location is nice, because you are right at the beach yet can be in Charleston in 20 min or so, and Mt Pleasant restaurants and shopping in even less time. Tom was very welcoming, and gave us some nice recommendations for places to eat / things to do. Mostly we were just happy hanging out and being near the beach. I hope that we will be able to come back.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

  What a fun place to stay. The cabin was perfect for our stay at the beach and Tom was great. Enjoyed having coffee on the balcony in the morning. The location was quick drive to Charleston. I would highly recommend Tom's cabin to others, and I can't wait for our next trip to IOP.

  This condo was very comfortable and convenient. The end location makes it very easy to load and unload the car, which my 70-ish parents appreciated. We've stayed in units on the ends that are actually closer to the beach, but this straight-on view of the ocean from the balcony somehow just seemed nicer. The sofas were comfortable and the shower water pressure was good. Lots of nice towels, no noise, well-stocked kitchen (thanks for the coffee filters, I forgot mine). The owner gave quick replies to both email and phone and was a pleasure to deal with. My Dad was discussing his return visit before we left. Thanks!

  Thank you Tom for following up with us in regards to our stay at the Sea Cabins. It was wonderful...the cabin was very nice and was cleaned and ready when we arrived at noon. The weather was a little cool, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the beach and even the pool. We will keep you in mind and I am sure we will return at some point.
