We really enjoyed this condo. The lanai was huge and we hung out there a lot. It is a perfect place to watch the sunset. The pool was also very nice, as was the luxury of having laundry in the unit. The only downside was that it was no as well equipped as other units we have stayed in. The condo did have 4 very nice beach chairs, beach towels, and a small cooler. But, we did have to rent boogie boards and snorkeling items. The beach outside is very long and perfect for a long beach walk in the morning. The location is convenient to the many nice beached in Kihei, Waimea and Makena.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.
Great view,away from the more crowded parts of Kihei.

We stayed in this 2 bedroom condo the week of Jul 16th on. 2011. We use reviews and trip-advisor in most of our travel decisions so thought it was appropriate to leave a note about our accomodations.This top floor corner unit has a large lanai with great views of the ocean and beyond to Lana'i Island. There are AC units in both bedrooms and also in the living area. There is a bit of traffic noise from the highway but easily masked by the AC unit and\or fan.not a issue during the day because we're usually not there.The kitchen\living area is away from the street and pretty quiet. [So noise was not a problem ] The unit is well maintained and the owners are very helpful.I wouldn't classify the beach in front as a swimming beach but we did stand up paddle here and it was easy entry and no sea-weed problem.Not a problem going in the water here but the clarity of water is better in other areas.We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future. Great central location close enough to grocery stores and not far from the airport.We found great snorkling at Honolua Bay and Ahihi Kina'u reserve. Also at the Sheraton by Black Rock ;great clarity, but the other spots much more expansive. Our criteria for a place to stay was met here.We were two couples in our fifties and we wanted a great place with lanai and views to come back to each evening and morning coffee setting.Although the pool is nice and the grounds clean we're not around to use them .
