Soaring just as the eagle does above Lake Isabella, sits this beautiful Spanish hacienda we call Eagles Nest Lodge. This magnificent home sits on 30 private lake front acres. This home is the perfect getaway for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The home features a huge kitchen with a wolf range, living room with a huge fireplace made of rocks collected from the property, lake views from almost every room, enclosed courtyard with a fireplace.
BBQ and bar that services indoor or outdoors. This house is truly a heaven. Walk down to the lake for a swim or fly fishing or walk right outside for a hike. Pack a nice lunch and picnic on a boat or in the mountains. Or go rafting down the kern river. Just down the road rent a horse for a day.
Great bird watching with eagles and hawks soaring through the sky. About a 35 minute drive to Alta Sierra local ski resort and 15 minutes to historic Kern. Circular drive way with ample parking for RVs, boats, toy haulers, trailers and all your toys! The 4th of July is always fun with fireworks on the lake, and whiskey flats days with rodeos and all sorts of festivities. Wind surfing is extremely popular on the lake as well.

We are married 8 years with three boys, five dogs, a goat and a pig! We love the outdoors. My sons and I enjoy hiking and going on walks and hanging out at the lake. My husband is an avid outdoorsman, mountain bike riding and trial running and motorcycling.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Isabella
My parents bought 30 acres in Lake Isabella long ago. They worked really hard in the hustle and bustle of downtown Los Angeles and fell in love with the peaceful setting of Lake Isabella. The setting was perfect, lake front, only 2 1/2 hours from Los Angels for quick getaways. After about two years of planning and construction they built their dream vacation home, Eagles Nest named after the numerous nest we have found on the property over the years. My family has enjoyed the home and many adventures and memories we hope yours will too!

We were lucky enough to stay here for my birthday weekend, And I'm telling you, I'm gonna start saving so I can get back there ASAP! So Quiet and tranquile, The Home is AMAZING! The Family was so nice to deal with, and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable! All you'll need is one morning on that porch with a cup of cocoa, and you'll be back! I've stayed at many cabin's in Big Bear, Tahoe, Mammoth, etc..., this is In my Top 3, and will be hard pressed to beat! Thank you so Much to the Wior Family for opening up your Home, I was able to make some great family memories!
