Beautiful Chalet located in the scenic Adirondack Mountains open year round.

In the summer enjoy 470' of beach/dock rights, swimming & fishing. Minutes from many other lakes & ponds, hiking, mountain climbing, etc.

In the winter Gore Mountain is just 20 minutes away and other major ski areas within approx. 1 hour (including Lake Placid). There is also cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and more.

In the fall there is hunting & the most beautiful fall foliage you'll ever see.

In the spring enjoy white water rafting on the upper Hudson river (just 10 minutes away) or just enjoy a spring get away.

Thank you “the Green family” for your beautiful cottage. It gave us the chance to explore the Adirondacks. Even if I’m 6 months pregnant we found some reasonable mountains to climb; Chimney Mt., Deer Leap Mt., Cook Mt., Severance Mt. After the climb we would relax at the new beach every day. We also discovered 4 great restaurants; the Bistro at Friends Lake Inn, The Drakes, Café Adirondack and the Wells House. We also had a wonderful opportunity to observe the lake, the birds, the trees and the many many stars from your porch. We had an awesome time.

We had a great time with the alpacas and going in the lake. I caught my first fish and daddy caught the biggest fish, no mommy caught the biggest fish.

This was our first trip to the Adirondacks and your home was more then we could have imagined. It was the perfect get away from city life and we loved the privacy, peace and calm of the area. We took your suggestion and had a great time at O.P. Frederick's for dinner one evening. In addition, we went white water rafting in North Creek (Hudson River Company)! Spent a day running around Lake George and swimming in Loon Lake (loved the diving platform)! Our only regret is that our trip was so short.

We loved this beautifully decorated and cozy home. We felt so comfortable and relaxed in our wonderful nature retreat. You did such a great job with all the moose, bear and loon stencils and decorative pieces. Thanks so much! We’d love to return next year. The leaves are just changing now and it’s so gorgeous!

Thank you so much-we really enjoyed our stay in “the house in the woods” as it was called by our children. It was such a treat to wake up to the magnificent views and watch the snow falling at night. This was our first trip to the Adirondacks and we look forward to returning in the summer for a completely different kind of vacation. Happy New Year!

I just got back to work this am. Thank YOU for renting us your beautiful chalet. We had an absolute AWESOME time there. We fished, boated, road bikes, hiked, swam and took in a drive-in movie Friday night. We wish we were still there! We want you to know how beautiful your place is and what a wonderful time we had.

The chalet was perfect! We rented a pontoon boat from the Loon Lake marina. We explored the beautiful lake, swam and fished. What a perfect way to spend the week with great friends. We are excited to come back to your” little piece of heaven in the woods”!

What a fabulous chalet and lake! We had a much needed vacation as a family. We went to the garnet mines, down to Lake George, horseback riding, and rented a boat at the Loon Lake marina for a week. The tubing and water skiing was awesome! Thanks for everything.

Another week come and gone too fast! We enjoyed wonderful days of skiing and playing in the awesome foot of snow we got! We had 3 wonderful trips to Trapper’s Tavern for amazing soup and out of this world pumpkin martinis (highly recommended!) This is definitely our home away from home, and as the week comes to a close we look forward to our 9th trip up to your wonderful home! Thank you so much for letting us stay to enjoy the beautiful Adirondacks and all that they have to offer! Thanks so much! (Pitman, NJ)
