The Beach House on the north shore of Kootenay Lake is a scenic 10 minute drive from Nelson, "the best small arts town in BC". Enjoy the gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding mountains while relaxing in a private setting. The modern layout, Egyptian cotton bed sheets and gas fireplaces on two floors of spacious living space will appeal to the upscale vacationer.
Some of the local attractions world class skiing at Whitewater and Red Mountain resorts, world class golfing in Nelson, Balfour and Kootenay Bay, Ainsworth Hotsprings, Kokanee Provincial Park, Kokanee Glacier, fishing, Kokanee Marina, nature trails for mountain biking, hiking and cross country skiing, canoe and kayak rentals, a boat launch, a general store and a neighbourhood pub.
The Beach House is a luxurious vacation home on a 1/2 acre waterfront property with ample room for larger parties. There are three bedrooms with king, queen and two bunk beds (4 beds). The family room has a sofa bed and a futon.
The home is fully furnished and all the kitchen amenities are supplied. The private deck overlooking Kootenay Lake is supplied with a barbecue and deck furniture for relaxing after a day at our private beach.

We had an awesome time here, the house is very nice,clean,roomy and comfortable. Awesome sauna and you are right on the lake - beautiful. Looking at coming back for another visit - Thank uouRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: We have lived in Nelson since 1990. We are both teachers and wanted to raise our children in a small community with easy access to an outdoor lifestyle. We can often be found taking in performances at our local theatre, mountain biking, cross country skiing and canoeing with our children. We live just down the street from the beach house and often greet our guests when they arrive.
Why the Owner Chose Nelson:
This property is in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The beach and home are private and the views are spectacular. One day we hope to live there!

This home is spacious and has an open living space with a marvelous view of the lake and mountains. It easily accommodates two families. The home is well equipped. The beds are very comfortable. It's just like home, only better!
