This may actually be our 10th visit here. Casa Lolita feels like our second home. We have recommended the villa to several other families and no-one has ever been disappointed. The owners are absolutely wonderful and insightful. We have never met them, but they feel like family. The concierge, Joaquin, takes care of any and all request. I still am in awe when I walk through the front door. If only I could frame the view and bottle the feeling of 'Namaste'. I am always delighted by the beauty of the house, landscape and surroundings. I find that my family never wants to leave the house/property. We had several single couples with our family. I thought I might have to worry about activities. Joaquin, took care of meals and our one day of 4 wheeling. I am in my 40's and our 20ish friends never wanted to leave the house. We ran the Cabo del Sol complex and worked out at the Hacienda everyday. I went early and enjoyed Mimosa's after. You can have a chef or prepare meals in the gourmet kitchen or outdoor area. I recommend having the pre-stock and a chef for some of the stay. The Hacienda is close for kids needing a mixed environment. Not a worry in the world down there. The house feels like home and is stunning. We will be back soon for another visit.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We (two families-- kids in their 20s, parents, and grandmother) just returned from a fantastic week at Casa Lolita! We were happy that we had Joaquin arrange for a driver to pick us up from the airport (there are many time share people at the airport wanting to arrange transportation for you). Casa Lolita is approximately 45 minutes from the airport and the driver spoke to us about the area and history of Cabo. At the house we were greeted by Joaquin and his staff with delicious authentic Mexican appetizers, refreshing drinks, a warm pool/hot tub, beautiful and perfectly clean house, and amazing ocean view! Joaquin and his staff were top notch and very professional. With the exception of one meal in town, we ate brunch and dinner at the home (we cancelled our other in-town dinner reservations as we quickly figured out that the cooking at the house could not have been beat). It was 5-star authentic mexican cooking by Denora, the chef Joaquin arranged. Some of our favorites were the Tortilla soup, blueberry muffins, chile rellenos, lobster, fish/shrimp tacos, poblano soup...) The waiter/bartender was also fantastic-- serving delicious drinks before/during/after each meal. Joaquin arranged a day trip to Todos Santos for us which we enjoyed. Other than a quick trip into Cabo (Joaquin can arrange a driver/call a taxi), we decided to spend most of our time at the "Casita". We played satellite radio/iPods on the speakers which are located in every room as well as outside. The lounge chairs were comfortable and there are floats for the pool. The beach was a short walk from the house-- we enjoyed walking along the sand/rocks, watching the sting rays jump, and we saw whales every day (even from the house). After dinner it was relaxing sitting by the fire pit. The house also includes WiFi, a home computer, and a Vonage phone for free calling to the US. We really enjoyed Casa Lolita and highly recommend this property. We had a very relaxing vacation with excellent food and service in a beautiful setting.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

What an amazing vacation! From the moment we got to Cabo we were pampered, Joaquin and his staff prepared a welcome package which included a verity of appetizers, Margaritas, Pina Colada's, and Smoothies for the kids. They also prepared breakfast each morning it was really nice to wake up to coffee and breakfast while we sat outside enjoying our incredible view. Joaquin was available at any time to answer any questions or set up any activities. Casa Loloita is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We were in awe as soon as we walked in, the views are to die for. We bbq'd almost every night and also did some cooking in the kitchen, the home was equipped with plenty of cooking utensils. The home is also hooked up with the latest entertainment system, which was nice to hook up ipods, Satellite TV's in bedrooms, and office. During our stay we did some fishing, golfing, and also Joaquin arranged massages for us women at the home. We went out to dinner 1 night to The Office on Medono Beach, the food and entertainment were great. We will definitely come back to Cabo and Casa Lolita. By far the best Concierge services.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, age 55+.

My wife and I stayed 9 nights at Casa Lolita. Our daughter and a freind stayed with us five of the nights, and 4 other couples stayed with us the remaining four nights. What a tremendous vacation it was! From the minute we walked in the front door, we loved Casa Lolita. The great room, the pool area and the view to the ocean were all breathtaking. The four main bedrooms/bathrooms were all fantastic and even the extra bedroom casita was charming. All the electronics in the house worked very well (Vontage US phone, Wi-Fi high speed internet, Dish TV with music that pipes throughout the house, etc). We loved the walking access to the Sheraton Cabo Del Sol. We enjoyed the Cabo Del Sol beach on most days and had serval enjoyable meals there. For a small tip, there was a charming man that would set us up with beach chairs, towels and umbrellas on the beach each day. The hotel waiters regularly offered drinks and food as needed. We golfed one day on the Ocean course at Cabo Del Sol which I would recommend as a very nice course (although a little pricy, as is all golf in Cabo). Joaquin the concierge was a 10+. He and his team made and served our group several in-house meals that were delicious. They also served drinks and allowed us to watch and learn from the cook as she prepared our meals. Joaquin also arranged boats, in-town restaurant reservations, massages (at the house), and for a house-call physician when one of our guests experienced a back problem. I should add that the cost of all these services was very reasonalbe. We also had a very pleasant expereince negotiating with the owner for a longer term rental. She graciously returned our security deposit in total with no issues. We have already recommended Casa Lolita to several freinds and plan to make this a regular vacation spot. I have no hesitation telling you that you will LOVE this place!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

5 friends headed south out of the cold and into the glorious sunshine. Casa Lolita was the perfect place for all of us. Joaquin, the property manager/concierge was there to answer all of our questions and make suggestions for a wonderful vacation. The property is exquisite! Upon opening the front door you are welcomed to a well appointed, comfortable home with a view that is beyond compare. The infinite pool and hot tub glisten in the sunshine. The ocean is home to whales that seem to be there simply for your entertainment. Joaquin arranged in home meals for us that were delicious. There is a great deal to do in the area but there is no need to leave the property. We enjoyed every moment and were sad to leave but know that we will return again next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Our family of 9 just returned from 10 amazing, relaxing days at wonderful Casa Lolita! We studied it carefully on the internet, asked the concierge many questions in advance and we were not disappointed! The house was a great fit for our family of 6 adults and 3 children ages 1, 3 and 6. We enjoy taking family vacations together when schedules peermit and we were blessed for the opportunity to share time together at this beautiful home and location. Daily after breakfast we would enjoy the comfortable pool and about mid-morning start whale watching! With small children in our group, we did not do some of the major excursions the area offers. Mostly we simply enjoyed hanging out together at the pool, watching the whales splashing in the sea, playing games with the children and eating great food. Besides the pool and the house itself, we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evening. Other activities one or more of us did outside the casa were golfing, a sunset dinner cruise, fishing, beach time at Medano, Sheraton restaurants and pools, a beach picnic (arranged by our outstanding concierge, Joaquin), dinner at Sunset da Mona Lisa and dinner at Pityhayas. Casa Lolita is a spacious home offering plenty of elbow room for everyone to do their own thing when not in the pool or sharing a group activity. Two of the children enjoyed the Kids Club at the Sheraton a couple times. We rented a golf cart for getting around the immediate area. Casa Lolita was our "home" away from home in Los Cabos and we can't say enough good things about it! Joaquin was great in assisting in so many ways, making our family vacation fantastiac for everyone from the youngest to the oldest. We hope to return!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

My wife and I and four good friends from Canada were trying to find the right place to rendez-vous for some fun in the sun in grand style. With kids out of the house, it was time for the adults to relax, darken skin tones and try some new adventuresome activities. The VRBO website pictures hardly captured the grandeur of what we found when we first arrived. This place was amazing. While unassuming from the roadside, it is breathtaking from all other directions. Your initial view as you enter the front door sets the tone for all that follows. The gracious marble hallway opens into a very large sunken living room. The front and side living room walls are floor to ceiling glass panels which disappear on a track to seemlessly connect the outside pool area to the inside if desired. The hot tub cascades into the infinity style pool which waterfalls to a lower area. There is a grass hut/bar area and the pool has a swim-up bar! There are several seating areas including a dining area with full built-in outdoor BBQ. Below the pool is another seating area with a fire pit. Whether in the pool area, living room or on a bedroom balcony, there is a beautiful elevated unobstructed view over the picturesque 8th hole of a premiere golf course, of the ocean and sand beaches below. The surf was always pounding the beach which provided a relaxing background noise. There is easy access to the beach with a cup of coffee in hand via a short walk acroos the narrow golf course, however swimming directly out front is reserved for stronger swimmers given the crashing waves (there is a calmer life-guarded area near-by).The beach extends in either direction as far as you can see. This house is fully equipped with all the creature comforts and there is the option for maid service and meal preparation if desired. We did not opt for these conveniences and were not disappointed. While we really enjoyed the use of the house, pool and beach, there was lots to do in the area. Everyday was sunny. We found locals to be extremely friendly and helpful. The area is easy to naviagte by boat, car or on foot. We never questioned our personal safety. As this beach house is within easy driving distance of two towns there are lots of bars, restaurants, shopping, beer/wine to choose from! Activities which we took advantage of were snorkeling, parasailing, boat touring, ATV riding, fishing, ultralight flying and surfing. We really enjoyed our stay in this location and would definitely consider coming backRecommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I just arrived home from our vacation at this spectacular oceanfront villa. Although we had seen pictures of this property, they in no way did it justice. Once we arrived, we hurried from room room shouting "oh my goodness!" -- we just could not believe how absolutely PERFECT every inch of this property is, and that we had the good fortune of living in this virtual paradise for an entire week! Honestly, we didn't want to leave to even "see the sights" in the nearby towns. We had arranged to share this villa with two other couples and -- with five gorgeous ensuite bedrooms to choose from -- we all had our own very comfortable space. Everything you need is here for your complete enjoyment: an amazing, amazing view (we watched for whales while reclining in our plushy chaise recliners), a stunning living/dining room area (enlist the services of a local chef for complete indulgence!), a gourmet "chef's" kitchen, a cozy den in which to curl up and read or watch tv, with a glass of wine, later in the evening, an outdoor kitchen (for those days you just don't want to leave the pool area), an esquisite pool with swim-up bar and a hot tub, a stunning outdoor seating area, complete with gas fire pit (perfect for cocktail hour!), and so much more. When we managed to tear ourselves away, we found lots to do in the surrounding areas. One day, we rented ATV's and experienced the thrill of riding trails right onto a sparkling white sand beach. Another day was spent on yet another gorgeous beach, taking surf lessons and enjoying the waves. Snorkelling in a crystal clear cove and skimming over the water in rented jet skies, were other activities we managed to fit in while exploring the Baja Peninsula. And, for those nights you'd like to explore the local cuisine, there's a plethora of really good restaurants a short hop away. We honestly can't say enough good things about this villa. The weather is perfect every day -- sunny, dry heat, no rain (there are virtually no rain days in this part of Mexico). It was like arriving in paradise and staying for a week.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Our family and another family just returned home to the states from a week at Casa Lolita. We had a wonderful time from the moment we arrived at the villa until the moment we left. We would have enjoyed another week and plan to do 2 weeks on our next visit. This villa is maintained just as the pictures display. It is accomadating in every way, especially the privacy the home offers. The deck and pool area make you not want to leave. We did a fishing trip, sailing/snorkel and zip lining. All were very enjoyable. Our congierge, Joaquin, was awesome. If you plan to go to Cabo you should request him. We are already looking forward to planning our trip for next summer. You cannot go wrong if you chose to rent this property.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

What a beautiful house, gorgeous setting and lovely week. I had stayed two houses down at Villa Cortez in the past through Cabo Villas. I was thrilled with the lovely lounge chairs covered with towels and the large eating areas at Lolita. I passed Villa Cortez and noted that they had plastic lounge chairs and the facility was looking very dated. I will definitely be going back for an extended stay at Lolita. The manager greated us with information on fishing, catering and spa service. We did go fishing and enjoyed on-site massages for a very reasonable price. They had bikes to use around the resorts and floating lounge chairs for the pool. The gardener spent a day grooming the grounds. We spent the siesta time watching whales pass through the Sea of Cortez. We used the onsite computer, but only had Direct TV in the office. The only negative was that it was Easter Weekend, so we only had maid service for one day. I did spend the morning washing towels and dishes (while I sipped Mimosas). We went to Cerretos Beach on the Pacific side one day and our 12 year olds got caught in a Riptide. The Beach had a lifeguard. The girls didn't stop jumping the waves with their boards. We stopped there due to it being next door to Arts and Beer. Best drinks and most interesting drinks around. Parasailing and shopping in downtown Cabo. San Jose is changing and I didn't care for the shops as much. We went next door to the Sheraton to jump waves-they also had a lifeguard on duty. I believe you are all aware of the under-tow. We ended up eating at home everynight except for one. On that night, we went to Pithayas at the Sheraton. The food was the best we have had there in the past ten years. We are timeshare owners at the Hacienda due to a long night of tequilla and no common sense. We have a 3br penthouse that we can never seem to get. I won't go into the frustration with the Hacienda. We prefer renting a house-we prefer renting Lolita. We also went golfing at Cabo del Sol. Make sure to take in the discounted times mid morning and early afternoon to save some dollars. The clubhouse has a wonderful brunch. Picture perfect trip! I could go on and on.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
