In the Heart of Rosemary Beach on Barrett Square, this fabulous loft with a wraparound balcony overlooks the Town Center. Guests will enjoy the Rosemary Beach architecture and lifestyle from one of the highest views in the community.
Check out the views of the Gulf before you head to the beach for the day! Enjoy stunning sunsets, gulf views or just good old fashioned people watching from the balcony. You can see all the activity in the town center as well as views for miles in both directions up and down 30-A.
Don't miss the pools including the HEATED Sky pool all within a 3 minute walk from the building! See Chris at Sea Oats to reserve an umbrella and chairs on the beach, a short walk from the loft.
Next to the entrance to the Loft building you'll find the courtyard with the Summer Kitchen/Blue by Night restaurant, the Sugar Shack, Carpenter's Market, and the Bamboo Bicycle Shop. For convenience, you can't get any closer! Just across the lane, you'll find the Solace Day Spa for that relaxing treatment you've been looking for.
Inside the Barrett Loft, the living area provides a spacious entertaining environment with an 18 foot ceiling. The dining table seats 8 comfortably and the gourmet kitchen has additional bartop seating for 4. For the aspiring chef, you'll find stainless appliances and the convenience of a solid surface stove. A full complement of cooking utensils, pans, and knives will have you preparing and serving any meal you desire.
With reclaimed pine flooring, this loft is distinctive as well as comfortable. Overstuffed down seating allows for lounging, reading, watching your favorite DVDs or just casual conversation. Escape up the spiral stair to the landing with seating for four and watch sunsets, action in the community or the building of the town center with a birdseye view.
The master suite features a king size bed, tv/vcr with DVD, walk in closet, and a separate private balcony with gulf views. The master bath includes a large shower with built-in seating and an oversized jetted tub. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, tv/vcr with DVD and generous closet space. Kids will enjoy the bunkroom with its own TV/DVD player. The bunkroom has a pocket door the kids can pull closed to "hide from the adults."

Needs a Deep Clean... But Perfect Location

Our family stayed here for a week in July. The location is absolutely perfect- right above Rosemary Trading Company and in the middle of all the activity of Rosemary Beach but wasn't too loud after dark. The deck was perfect for lounging and eating meals- I spent a lot of time reading out there with the ocean breeze. There is also a loft inside the unit which was a perfect little reading nook. The place has a great layout that was perfect for our family. Our only issues: 1) it wasn't very clean (my husband and I cleaned the master bath which obviously hadn't been cleaned) and 2) some of the amenities really need to be upgraded (e.g. antiquated TV with attached VHS and DVD players, some outlets not working, small area rug needs to be changed to seagrass rug to capture all of the sand- we swept quite a bit while we were there). While we were there, someone came into the unit to measure for flat screen tvs... not sure when/if the tvs will be upgraded. Good communication from the owners before we left for our trip.
Owner response:We have replaced the 3 TV's with NEW flat screen TV's. We do a deep clean in the off season. Our housekeepers do come in and clean between guest, and I will ask them to pay more attention to the Master Bath. We appreciate our guest feedback so that we can keep Barrett at the top of it's game.

No telephone line as advertised. Wireless internet did not work. Roaches present. An exterminator did come and spray after mentioning it to maintenance person. General cleaning should be more intensive. TV was of poor quality. The balcony furniture had to be cleaned daily due to bird droppings. Construction took place below, very noisy. Was told by other building occupants that owners were notified months in advance. I feel it should not have been rented during this time. Master bedroom linens and bedspread were of extremely poor quality.
Owner response:We have taken out the land line as most people use their cell phones. We have changed wireless providers as we had some issues with the previous company. Unfortunately we do have bugs from time to time, but have an exterminator that can help us with that issue. Have addressed cleaning with housekeeping. TV's are on our update list. We were not notified of any construction that was going on in the building during January sorry for the Inconvenience. As the owner had these issues been brought to my attention I would have been happy to address them during your visit. Jeannie

I live in Niceville, FL and my family came down from Mass to visit. Four of us stayed at the Barrett Loft. 30A is the best place in NW Fl to visit, maybe all of Fl. The Barrett Loft lived up to the expectations I had from VRBO, it was great! We stayed in mid Oct and had perfect beach weather all week; which is good because we walked to the beach everyday. The place was fabulous. Views of the gulf from loft, and from the patio you can look out over the town center. There are a dozen great restaurants in Rosemary and just down the road in Seaside. Food and entertainment were excellent. Highly recommend staying here.

The Barrett Loft is wonderful! It is very family friendly, and very roomy. Our 6 year old daughter loved the loft and used it as her clubhouse! It is centrally located in Rosemary Beach, and very accessible to the beach and the pools. It is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need for a great vacation. We will definitely be back, and won't hesitate to even bring the grandparents! Don't miss this one!

We had a marvelous vacation in Rosemary Beach. Jeannie Roberts was great to book through and the complimentary bottle of wine we found upon arrival was a unique touch. The unit was beautiful and the location at the center of activity of Rosemary. We loved walking to get warm and fresh baked goods from Wild Olives in the early a.m.! We also enjoyed getting wine from the Wine and Cheese Bar(located about 100 yards from the beach) before dinner as we watched the sunset. Dinner at Onana's was a highlight for us as well. As we walked through Rosemary Beach, we honestly felt like we were walking through the pages of a magazine....such a unique community with a flair like no other. IF you enjoy architecture, this community will be a treat for you! This gaslight community is a favorite of ours for sure.

This listing is an EXCEPTIONAL choice!! We stayed for nearly 2 weeks and it wasn't enough time. The condo is BEAUTIFUL and Rosemary Beach is a wonderful place (especially for families)! It was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! The dining right below this condo (Summer Kitchen/Blue by Night) was just ONE reason we would consider moving to this lovely community!! Otherwise... this condo will see our family yearly!!!

We had a great time at the Barrett Loft in Rosemary Beach. It's tastefully decorated, comfortable, and centrally located. The master bathroom is HUGE, and the split floor plan is perfect for 2 couples vacationing together. The balcony is quite large, and is equipped with tables and chairs, which makes it perfect for outside dining. This is a very nice property in a great location.

This was perhaps the greatest beach experience my wife and I ever had. I've never found another property so relaxing and charming. Can't wait to get back and watch more sunsets from the balcony!!
