  Words can not sufficiently describe my experience during my month long stay at your home away from home, Donna. It was a pleasure to stay in a place where I could get my work done and have the comforts that you provide your guests. Clearly there is pride of ownership and diligence in maintaining that. What a gem you have there! I had everything I needed and very easy access to everything a traveller could want. I shall stay at no other so expect me to reconnect and book again at your lovely safe haven and my new home away from home!

  My 5 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed Donna's place! Although all the previous reviews are older, they are still spot on in their descriptions. It was a last minute decision to join some friends also staying in Chac Ha. Simply a wonderful home away from home! Donna's done a fabulous job of decorating and obvious attention to every detail. It's comfortable, charming, nice, clean, spacious, convenient, safe, FUN and loaded with amenities. You won't want for anything and have options galore! I like that we were on the ground floor just steps from the pool, yet it was very safe. The flat is very well stocked, towels, pool/beach toys, bikes, books, games etc. The kitchen has all the gadgets you'll need and safe bottled drinking water. Loved having a washer/dryer and dishwasher. It would sleep 8 comfortably. The pool was never crowded and great for children with a nice wide shallow rim 3/4 around the pool. We had Mexican food delivered a couple nights and made a picnic by the pool with the kids. All the neighbors in the complex were very nice and willing to help with anything you needed. The location is ideal, in a quiet condo development, yet close enough to walk to the beach across the street through the Reef Club resort. It was nice to be able to use the Reef facilities and pools at the beach. Any tour you want can be arranged to pick you up at the Reef, very convenient. Tip - Spend some time researching and plan which tours you want to do when you get there. There are many to choose from! Highly recommend Xelha lagoon Water Park! Very well done! The ruins in the summer are hot, bring an umbrella! Our tour of Chichen Itza was very good and well planned for the heat of the day. Next trip we'd like to do Coba as you can still climb to the top of the ruins. Nearby - 5th Avenue is a 20 min walk or a quick inexpensive cab ride. Our group had a car (not necessary, cabs are everywhere) and we'd shop at the Walmart 10 mins away by car. There we'd stocked up on the basics and food. You can even book your tours at the Walmart to pick you up at the Reef, which is what we did. Donna is a pleasure, very accommodating and so helpful prior & during our trip. This meant a lot to me as a Mom going on holiday with her 5 year old. Carmen her property manager also very helpful and quick to respond to any need to ensure your stay is enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone! We hope to go back & make more memories! :)

  March 2010 - Our family just spent a week in this wonderful condo. It's clean, smelled fresh and full of amenities. We have seen other condos in Chac-ca and this one was defnitely one of the nicest. There were plenty of towels supplied as well as kitchen accesories, bottled water, games and books. Having the condo pool right outside your door is wonderful and having access to the Reef Club across the street gives you options of different pools and the beach. We also did the all inclusive food and drinks across the street as well. Perfect way to spend vacation. I would definitely recommend this condo.

  Just returned from a too short stay ~ and would go back in a heartbeat! Our group enjoyed the amenities, secure locaation, and relaxing poolside at day's end! Look forward to another visit soon.

  My family (grandma and grandpa, two sons with their wifes and a total of three children 4 years old and younger) just returned from a week's stay in Donna's condo at Chac Ha. We actually had two condos next to each other. Donna's condo was perfect. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed - even a dishwasher. I love the open floor plan of the condo - it felt very spacious compared to the other one we rented. There was plenty of room for all nine of us when we visited from the other condo. Donna's unit is perfectly located in the small Chac Ha complex. The condo pool is just steps away which allowed the adults to stay at the pool while the children had their naps. We seemed to end up at the condo pool at the ned of every day before we went to dinner. We used to Reef Resort across the street every day and it was very convenient to the condo when we needed to run back from the beach to get something. We walked to downtown Playa del Carmen and back several times with the kids in strollers. My children went running every day to Playa and back. We met some of the owners of the other condos in the complex at the pool and they were very friendly and interesting to talk to although most of the time we had the pool all to ourselves. There is a wonderful shallow area areound the side of the deep pool which was safe for the small children - even the 1 year old - and my adult children could play ball in the deep portion. Donna was very helpful with providing information to us before our trip. You do need an umbrella since it seems to rain frequently although not long in duration. She was very accomodating by allowing our one son and his family to stay later than the check-out time since their plane was late in the day. I wholeheartly recommend the condo complex and Donna's condo in particular. I wish I was back there right now.

  APRIL 2006 What a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. There 7 in our group (3 adults, 3 teens and 1 child) and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the pool outside the door and the beach at the Reef Club across the street. We felt VERY safe in the condo and the location. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend this to others. Thank you Donna for sharing your condo with us, we enjoyed it immensely.

  Donna, What a great stay our family had at your condo. As some may be, initially we were a little scepticle about renting, but now that we have completed our trip, we would not hesitate for a second to do exactly the same condo stay. The pool is beautiful, everything you need for a vacation is there and maintained beautifully. We will contact you again next time we visit mexico. John & Dana Derkat and our younger family.

  We had a wonderful time in our condo in Playa del Carmen. The condo is everything Donna's description said it was and more. It is very well kept, clean and bright. Our family had never used VRBO before and I was quite nervous initially. Donna was very accessible and helpful when I contacted her. Not only would I recommend her condo but we will likely be back again one day ourselves.

  We just got back from spending 2 weeks over Christmas at Donna's beautiful condo. It was amazing. You can tell that Donna has spent a lot of time making her condo feel like a home away from home for guests, while giving them a taste of Mexico. This condo was perfect for our family of 5, but could easily accomodate 3 more. The condo feels much bigger than what the photos show. The location is awesome...you feel very safe in this quiet spot, yet the nightlife is just a 20min walk away. We also had the condo pool pretty much to ourselves so we spent a lot of time there relaxing and playing games that we found in the condo. We definately plan on coming back and highly recommend Donna's condo. She's a pleasure to deal with, as is her property manager Carmen. They both really care about making your stay the best.
